Lisa Picard is President and Chief Executive Officer of Equity Office. In this role, Ms. Picard drives the strategic direction and investment execution for the company on a portfolio of diverse office assets within core urban markets. Ms. Picard has a passion for building a culture that uncovers relevant work place trends and market desires that drive office demand. Ms. Picard joined Equity Office in 2016 as its Chief Operating Officer responsible for advancing the Company's organizational vision, technology platform and investment strategies in transforming office investment assets into desired work environments that generate new value. In 2017 she became CEO. Prior to Equity Office, Ms. Picard worked for Skanska Commercial Development US where she served as Executive Vice President establishing the company's strategic development, investment and execution for the Pacific Northwest. She also founded Muse Development in Seattle, worked several years for Hines Interests, and managed several national accounts for pension fund investments in real estate. Ms. Picard received her Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning from Cal Poly and holds two master's degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She lectures on topics at MIT and the University of Washington on design thinking, mindful leadership, real estate innovation and understanding risk in changing markets.
Frank Campbell is a Managing Director who leads a staff of 100 professionals and is responsible for the asset management, leasing, property management, operations and investment activities of more than 120 properties that makes up our Western Region’s 25 million square-foot office portfolio. With more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience, Mr. Campbell has held various positions with Equity Office, including Senior Vice President-Leasing and Leasing Director for the company's Western Region portfolio. Prior to joining Equity Office, Mr. Campbell served as Leasing Director for Koll Real Estate Group, Inc., and as an office specialist for Grubb & Ellis. Mr. Campbell earned a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing from San Diego State University. He is an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI), a board member of Junior Achievement of Orange County, on the advisory board of Miracles for Kids Charity and formerly on the board of directors for NAIOP-Southern California.
Mark Smith is the Managing Director for the Eastern Region and is responsible for the asset management, property management, construction, leasing and investment activities for the region. With more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Mr. Smith has held various leadership positions. Prior to joining Equity Office, Mr. Smith was President of Winthrop Realty Partners LP, a Boston and New York-based real estate investment trust. Mr. Smith was the driving force behind the company’s growth and success as a nationally recognized management company. In his role as President he directed all facets of operations for both the residential and commercial management divisions. In addition, he set the strategic vision and plan for both management divisions. Mr. Smith worked for seven years at Jaymont Properties in Boston before joining Winthrop where he was an Assistant Vice President. He began his professional real estate career in 1984 at RM Bradley. Mr. Smith has been involved with several professional organizations including the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and NAIOP. Additionally, he has served on several boards of trustees including Trinity-Pawling School and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School
