Esko Korhonen

Esko Korhonen has company responsibilities in commercial investment, capital markets and fund raising. He has more than 27 years of experience in real estate investment and development and serves on FCP's Investment Committee. Prior to founding FCP, Mr. Korhonen was a Principal of The Carlyle Group where he served on the company’s real estate fund's Investment Committee. Before joining Carlyle, Mr. Korhonen was Vice President of ING Group, where he was responsible for ING's North American real estate portfolio. He began his real estate career with the Trammell Crow Company. Mr. Korhonen has served on the Board of Directors of Tower Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE-TOW) and also serves on the Board of Trustees and is Treasurer of The Maret School in Washington, DC. He received his MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University and BA from Colgate University.

Lacy Rice

Lacy Rice manages the company’s for-sale and for-rent residential acquisitions. Mr. Rice has 23 years of experience in real estate investment and corporate finance and serves on FCP's Investment Committee. Prior to founding FCP, Mr. Rice was a Principal at The Carlyle Group. He served on the company’s real estate fund's Investment Committee. Prior to Carlyle, Mr. Rice worked at companies including Alex Brown, Haas & Haynie Corporation and Chemical Bank. Mr. Rice serves on the board of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and BA from Princeton University.

Thomas Carr

Thomas A. Carr joined FCP in 2007, is a member of the company’s Investment Committee and has responsibility for commercial office investments, capital raising and general management. Mr. Carr has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry focusing on all aspects of development, operations, capital markets and investments. Mr. Carr is the former Chairman and CEO of CarrAmerica Realty Corporation (formerly NYSE:CRE). He serves as Trustee and Past Chairman of the Board of the NHP Foundation and is on the Board of The Oliver Carr Company. He is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Board of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, a former member of the Real Estate Roundtable, former President of the Board of The Maret School, and former Trustee of The Federal City Council. Mr. Carr has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Urban Studies from Brown University.

Alex Marshall

Alex Marshall is a 16-year veteran of the real estate industry, with specialized experience in financing, acquisitions and the repositioning of multi-family properties. Mr. Marshall is a member of the company’s Investment Committee and is responsible for the company’s multifamily acquisitions. Prior to joining FCP, Mr. Marshall was a member of the Real Estate Group at JPMorgan Partners and before that worked as an Associate in the Acquisitions Group at ING Clarion. He holds a BS in Finance from Boston College's Carroll School of Management.
