John Kilroy was elected to serve as our Chairman of the Board in February 2013 and has been our President, CEO and a Director since our incorporation in September 1996. Having led its private predecessor, Kilroy Industries, in a similar capacity, he became its President in 1981 and was elected Chief Executive Officer in 1991. Mr. Kilroy has been involved in all aspects of commercial and industrial real estate development, construction, acquisition, sales, leasing, financing, and entitlement since 1967. Mr. Kilroy actively led the Company to be one of the premier landlords on the West Coast with one of the largest LEED portfolios, spanning some of the strongest markets in the country, from Seattle to San Diego. Mr. Kilroy serves on the board of governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and the Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Kilroy previously served on the board of New Majority California and as Chairman of New Majority Los Angeles. He is a past trustee of the El Segundo Employers Association, Viewpoint School, Jefferson Center for Character Education, and the National Fitness Foundation. He was also a member of the San Francisco America’s Cup Organizing Committee. Mr. Kilroy attended the University of Southern California.

Executive Vice President

John T. Fucci was appointed Executive Vice President, Asset Management in February 2016 after serving as Senior Vice President, Asset Management and Vice President, Asset Management since joining the company in July of 1997. Mr. Fucci is responsible for the leasing and management of a 700 tenant, 13 million square foot portfolio of office properties from the coastal regions of San Diego to greater Seattle. He has over 30 years of experience in West Coast real estate markets and in addition to Kilroy Realty Corporation has held key positions at Catellus Development Corporation, Meyer Investment Properties and Schneider Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Fucci currently serves on the Board of Directors of BOMA Greater Los Angeles and is an active member of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Mr. Fucci also received the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM©) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA©) from BOMI International©. Mr. Fucci holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and he is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of California.

Chief Operating Officer

Jeffrey C. Hawken

Jeffrey C. Hawken has served as our Chief Operating Officer since our inception as a public company in January 1997. Mr. Hawken is responsible for overseeing the Company’s operations, leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, asset and property management functions, human resources and legal affairs. Prior to our initial public offering, Mr. Hawken served in the same capacity for Kilroy Industries and was responsible for the management and operations of Kilroy Industries’ real estate portfolio and served on its acquisitions and executive committees. In 1980, after graduating from college, Mr. Hawken joined Kilroy Industries as a Senior Financial Analyst and has been involved in property and asset management with the Company since May 1983. Mr. Hawken is a member of the World Presidents’ Organization (“WPO”), Angeleno Chapter and has held leadership roles in WPO, Santa Monica Bay Chapter and Young Presidents’ Organization, Santa Monica Bay Chapter. Mr. Hawken was a past Chairman of BOMA Greater Los Angeles and currently serves on the National Advisory Committee. Mr. Hawken serves on the Executive Committee at the University of Southern California Lusk Center for Real Estate. He is an active member of the City of Hope Los Angeles Real Estate and Construction Industries Council. Mr. Hawken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and he is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of California.

Executive Vice President

Tracy A. Murphy was appointed Executive Vice President, Life Sciences in May 2016 and is responsible for the company’s life science activities along the West Coast, an area that includes three of the top four U.S. life science markets. The company currently has approximately three million square feet of life science properties either stabilized or in development and Ms. Murphy will lead the leasing, development and positioning for these assets as well as identify and pursue new development and acquisition opportunities in the San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area and greater Seattle markets. Across a 15 year career dedicated life science real estate, Tracy has held leadership roles in a variety of disciplines, including leasing, acquisitions and development. Tracy joined Kilroy Realty after eight years at BioMed Realty, where she participated on the Executive Committee and was Senior Vice President, Western U.S. and responsible for the strategic objectives for a 10 million square foot portfolio. Prior to BioMed Realty, Tracy was a life science specialized broker at BRE Commercial (now Cushman & Wakefield) for seven years. She holds a Bachelor degree from the University Wisconsin, Whitewater. Tracy also participates on the Executive Board of Directors for BIOCOM.

Steve Rosetta

Mr. Rosetta joins Kilroy Realty from Cushman & Wakefield where he most recently served as a Vice Chairman and was a member of the Global Advisory Board. During his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, from September 1996 to June 2017, he held various senior leadership roles and successfully led several strategic growth objectives for the firm, including the acquisition and integration of Burnham Real Estate in 2007. Mr. Rosetta has negotiated numerous large complex transactions from acquisitions to ground up developments as well as lease and sales transactions. He holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.
