Stephen Fithian

Steve Fithian serves as Senior Advisor and Managing Director for Sperry Van Ness / Visions Commercial. With over 25 years of commercial real estate experience, Fithian specializes in selling and overseeing investment property sales that include multifamily, mini-warehouse, office, retail, undeveloped land and finished lots. He also organizes, manages, and acts as the general partner in property partnerships. Fithian holds the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and is the former chairperson of the North Texas Chapter CCIM Membership Committee. In 2011, he was named a counselor to the Society of Exchange Counselors. The Society of Exchange Counselors is a marketing group consisting of approximately 100 investment brokers from various parts of the country who have proven their skills at solving clients’ problems. Fithian also is a member of the Texas Association of REALTORS where he was appointed a member of the 2004 Regulatory & Private Property Rights Task Force. In addition, he is a member and former chairman of the Society of Commercial REALTORS in Fort Worth. In 2008, he received the Charles D. Tandy Commercial REALTOR of the Year Award, which is given by the Society of Commercial REALTORS to the REALTOR who best exemplifies the highest professional standards for commercial real estate. In 2002, he was awarded the William C. Jennings Award for Commercial Transaction of the Year in Texas by the Texas Association of REALTORS. Fithian has also received several sales awards from Sperry Van Ness including Partner’s Circle awards in 2005 and 2006, the Achiever’s Award in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Fithian is a licensed broker in Texas and California, and is a certified public accountant. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics with an emphasis in accounting from Claremont McKenna College.

James Blake

James Blake, CCIM serves as Senior Advisor for Sperry Van Ness, specializing in multi-tenant retail shopping centers, freestanding single tenant retail buildings and industrial properties. With more than 29 years of Dallas/Fort Worth commercial real estate market experience, Blake has combined sales and leases in excess of $342 million. While Blake’s shopping center and industrial clients are all across the United States, his focus is retail and industrial income producing properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area. Blake began his commercial real estate career in 1985 with the Henry S. Miller Company. Blake teamed up with Fidelity Asset Management (FAM), a local commercial real estate asset management company, for six years. FAM focused on bank owned real estate and government owned real estate (FDIC, RTC). The property was responsible for management, leasing and disposition of assets. Blake also served as president of Butler Commercial Realty assisting local industrial and retail buyers and sellers for eight years. In 2013 James Blake was named Charles D. Tandy Commercial Realtor of the Year. As an involved commercial real estate Advisor, Blake has served as region three representative for the Texas Association of Realtors Commercial Investment Division. He has also served as chairman of the Society of Commercial Realtors in Fort Worth, Texas. In addition, Blake is an active member of the community serving on several civic boards including being chairman of Parents and Children Together, an organization that counsels the children of incarcerated parents, Boy Scouts of America. Blake holds a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and has earned a bachelor’s degree in real estate finance from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas.
