Gary Chesson

In 2001, Gary Chesson co-founded Trinity Capital Advisors to acquire and develop office, industrial, and mixed-use assets throughout the Southeast. Gary oversees the firm’s office acquisition and development activities, and is responsible for for raising high net worth and institutional capital for investment throughout Trinity Capital’s portfolio. Investments are capitalized through Trinity Capital’s Value Fund series and through partnerships with many of the country’s top institutional investors. The firm has acquired or developed over 13 million SF totaling over $1.8 billion. Trinity has acquired or developed some of the most successful workplace real estate projects in the Southeast, including Perimeter Park, Ally Center, NASCAR Plaza, Perimeter Woods Business Park, Toringdon Office Park and Westlake Business Park. Chesson is also a co-founder of sister company Trinity Partners (trinity-partners.com) which serves as Trinity Capital’s operating platform. Before founding Trinity Capital and Trinity Partners, Gary worked for Childress Klein Properties and focused on office leasing, development, and tenant representation. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he frequently lectures at the University’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Walker Collier

A 15-year veteran of the industry, Walker Collier has been directly involved in the purchase of approximately $1.6 billion of real estate assets on behalf of Trinity Capital Advisors across office, industrial, and mixed-use asset classes. As a partner in the firm, he is directly responsible for investment sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and capitalization of new investment activities. Walker works diligently with Trinity Capital’s joint venture equity partners to oversee and manage to the firm’s growing investment portfolio across the southeastern United States. Partners and colleagues appreciate Walker’s determined focus on execution, his creative problem-solving, and his proven experience in capitalizing on off-market investment opportunities. Prior to joining Trinity Capital in 2008, Walker was an acquisitions officer for BayNorth Capital in Boston. Early in his career, he worked as an analyst at Faison & Associates in Charlotte. The Concord, North Carolina native earned a master’s degree in real estate development from MIT and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jeff Sheehan

Jeff Sheehan is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and ensuring capitalization while overseeing due diligence for Trinity Capital’s investment opportunities. He focuses primarily on office and industrial projects in the mid-Atlantic region and the Carolinas and is known for developing practical resolutions when conflict arises. The Richmond, VA native worked for Duke Realty in Raleigh for 15 years before joining Trinity Capital’s Raleigh office in 2015. While at Duke, Jeff oversaw all operations for a ten million square feet of Class-A office space and warehouse distribution portfolio in North Carolina, Norfolk Virginia , Washington DC and Baltimore MD. He has been in commercial real estate since 1999 and has completed more than $425 million in new development projects during his career. Jeff is one of 19 members of the N.C. Department of Transportation (NCDOT) board. He was appointed by Gov. Pat McCrory in 2014 and represents Wake, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Person, Warren and Vance counties. He earned his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill.

Wes McAdams

Wes McAdams joined Trinity Capital Advisors in 2014. He has overall responsibility for acquisitions, underwriting, structuring and due diligence related to the firm’s investment activities. Prior to joining Trinity, the Chapel Hill native was an acquisitions officer at Carr Properties in Washington, D.C., where he oversaw all aspects of the investment process. Previously, he was an associate in the real estate investment banking group at Eastdil Secured/Wells Fargo Securities and a real estate analyst at ASB Capital Management. Wes is a graduate of Washington & Lee University and earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
