Mr. Lawlor has 31 years of experience in real estate across all sectors. He was the founder of Broadway Partners, a private, vertically integrated real estate investment management firm headquartered in New York. From 2000-2007, Broadway purchased office properties totaling approximately 28 million square feet throughout the US. He previously ran real estate operations at the Fortress Investment Group and oversaw distressed debt and equity assets for Mutual of New York. He holds a B.A. from Bucknell University and an M.B.A. and M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
Mr. Hade is based in the firm’s Atlanta office, where he is responsible for development activity nationally and investment activity throughout the east coast; he has over 16 years of real estate experience. Prior to joining Waypoint Residential, Mr. Hade was the Chief Investment Officer, EVP of Operations and General Counsel of Lane Company. While at Lane, Mr. Hade oversaw all aspects of the company’s investment activities in connection with more than $1 billion of transactions. Prior to Lane, Mr. Hade was an attorney at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan, LLP in their real estate and capital markets practice. Mr. Hade received a B.A. with honors from Colgate University, as well as an M.B.A. and a J.D. from Emory University where he was an editor of the Emory Law Journal.
Mr. DiCorpo has 22 years of experience in real estate across all sectors. Prior to joining Waypoint, he was the President of the U.S. Core Investment Platform for CBRE Global Investors. Mr. DiCorpo oversaw the firm's $10.2 billion core investment business in the United States. Prior to that he was the firm's Chief Operating Officer and oversaw their operations in the UK and Europe. He began his real estate career at AIG Global Real Estate, where he served in a number of roles including Chief Administration Officer. He holds a B.A. cum laude from Colgate University, a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Hartford and an M.B.A from New York University Stern School of Business. He is the chairman of NAREIM and active in other real estate organizations such as ULI, NMHC and PREA.
Mrs. Lewis has over 20 years of private equity and real estate experience across all sectors. Previously she was a Portfolio Manager in Lazard Freres & Co.'s $2 billion real estate private equity fund. Prior thereto Linda was with Security Capital Group and the Prudential Realty Group. Linda holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University; Series 7, Series 63, Series 24 certified.
Mr. Ryder is based in the firm’s Chicago office where he is responsible for investment activity in the Midwest and Western states, and also has national oversight for various portfolio management functions. Prior to joining Waypoint Residential, Mr. Ryder spent 18 years with Pearlmark Real Estate Partners (formerly Transwestern Investment Co.) where he invested over $1.4 billion nationwide, including 12,000 multifamily units and 2.6 million square feet of office space. He previously spent 10 years in commercial and investment banking, including six years providing financing and advisory services to publicly traded REITs while at Merrill Lynch & Co and EVEREN Securities (formerly Kemper Securities). Mr. Ryder received a B.A in Finance from the University of South Florida and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago.
Mr. Bippus has over 18 years of real estate experience. Michael was most recently with Harbor Group International where he was responsible for multifamily acquisitions in the Southeast and Southwest markets. Prior to Harbor Group, he directed Berkshire Property Advisors’ multifamily investment team in the Southeast. Over his career, Michael has acquired over $1 billion in multifamily apartments. Michael holds a M.B.A in Finance and Real Estate from The Terry School of Business at The University of Georgia and a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Mr. Dominguez has over 18 years of real estate experience. Prior to Waypoint Residential, Juan was founder and CEO of Aristeas Real Estate Group, a private equity firm based in Madrid, Spain. Previously he was the Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management for Babcock & Brown, and held senior positions at Tishman Speyer and O’Connor Capital Partners. Over his career, Juan has acquired over $1.7 billion in real estate. Juan holds a B.S. from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Pemberton has over 20 years of real estate investment experience. Prior to joining Waypoint Residential, Mr. Pemberton was President/ Executive Managing Director of Avatas Capital, a private investment firm specializing in owning/advising on commercial real estate. Prior to founding Avatas, Jeremy was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Real Estate for North/South America, and a member of the Management Committee of Babcock & Brown, an $80 billion multi-national fund manager and merchant bank, which he joined in 1999. To date Mr. Pemberton has completed in excess of $14 billion in transactions globally. Jeremy has undergraduate degrees in economics, finance and accounting and an MBA from the University of Findlay in Ohio.
