We are a privately held real estate investment and advisory business based in San Francisco, California. The firm was founded in 2009 by Stan Beraznik to capitalize on the dislocation in the United States real estate markets, and the partners continue to manage the firm as a dynamic and entrepreneurial business. The firm’s investment strategy is to partner with best-in-class real estate operators that have a proven ability to execute on a defined strategy and geographic focus. 29th Street Capital brings 40 years of institutional and capital markets experience to every relationship, and works with operators to raise both limited and general partner capital. Investments typically involve approximately USD 2-10 million of equity per deal, and involve the acquisition or recapitalization of real estate assets, portfolios, or platforms. We always co-invest alongside our partners to ensure alignment of interest. 29th Street Capital has invested over USD 140 million since inception through relationships with high net worth investors and institutions. We continue to identify and pursue strategic investments ahead of the broader market and below the radar of our institutional peers, where limited appetite and competition exists for opportunities.

Managing Principal and Founder

Stan Beraznik

Stan Beraznik is the Founder of 29th Street Capital. He oversees all three business units, and works along side the other managing principals to determine which investments fit the firm's criteria. Prior to forming 29th Street Capital, Mr. Beraznik worked for 20 years with Citigroup and Goldman Sachs in derivatives and wealth management. Mr. Beraznik has structured and marketed over $10BN of currency, interest rate and equity derivatives for institutional clients and managed in excess of $1BN, including real estate private equity allocations, for high net worth individuals, family offices, corporations and family foundations. Vice President, Multifamily Acquisitions

Casey Davis

Casey Davis is a Vice President of multi-family acquisitions and will be focusing on smaller multi-family properties specifically in the Oakland & San Francisco East Bay regions. Prior to this position, Mr. Davis gained several years of acquisition/asset management experience, having worked for both The Apartment Group and Green Leaf Partners in the Bay Area. While at Green Leaf Partners he assisted in the underwriting, market research, and renovation oversight of a 2,000 unit multifamily portfolio. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University.

Robert Bollhoffer

Robert Bollhoffer is a Managing Principal and Director of multi-family acquisitions at 29th Street Capital. He oversees all members of the acquisition group, as well as both the construction and property management teams. Mr. Bollhoffer focuses on both direct acquisitions and joint venture multi-family investments that present value-add opportunities. Prior to this position at 29th Street Capital, Robb spent 8 years as a Managing Director at Strategic Capital Partners (“SCP”), a privately held real estate investment management company with assets of over $1 billion. At SCP, his focus was multi-family, student and senior housing and office properties. Mr. Bollhoffer obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from DePaul (Kellstadt) University where he graduated with honors. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Business Administration with concentrations in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he also was a member of the Rowing Team.

Managing Director of Distressed Debt

Jason Lee

Jason Lee is a Managing Principal and Director of distressed debt for 29th Street Capital. Prior to 29th Street Capital, Mr. Lee was an AVP of Sale and Trading at 3Point Asset Management, the sole residential asset manager for PIMCO’s distressed bank fund. Prior to 3Point Asset Management, Mr. Lee was an Associate of Capital Markets at Arch Bay Capital, a $1.5BN distressed mortgage investment company. He has over 7 years of financial services experience in mortgage trading, asset management, and servicing. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Riverside.
