Launched by Eisenberg's father, Philip, the New Jersey-based firm was one of the most active buyers of rent-regulated housing during the mid-2000s. Douglas left the family firm in 2011, and since then his new company has purchased at least $433 million in apartment buildings in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Mr. Cummings is a Managing Director for Harvard Management Co. in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Cummings was a Founder and Managing Director of Matapeake Partners LLC, an international real estate investment and development firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. from 2007 until 2010. For the seven years prior to that, Mr. Cummings was a Managing Director and Senior Advisor of The Carlyle Group where he launched Carlyle’s international real estate activities and served on the Investment Committees for these funds. Prior to 2000, Mr. Cummings held the position of Co-CEO/CIO of LaSalle Investment Management and a Board Member of Jones Lang LaSalle. As a founding member of LaSalle’s investment business, Mr. Cummings managed an international real estate portfolio for institutional and retail investors. Mr. Cummings is a graduate of Dartmouth College, and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
