Founder

Carter Malloy

Carter grew up in a farming family and has a lifelong passion for investing and agriculture. Prior to AcreTrader, he was part of an equity investment firm for 5 years. Before joining in 2013, Carter was a Managing Director with Stephens Inc., a large private investment bank, where he was an equity research analyst focused on the Internet, Data & Analytics and Real Estate Processing sectors. Prior to Stephens, he owned small businesses focused on internet marketing and sustainable fuel technologies. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in Physics and has previously held Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

VP & General Counsel

Elise Alexander

Elise was raised on a farm and cattle ranch in Crawford County, Arkansas. Since 2003 she has served as President of a large family office, managing several companies and serving as legal counsel. From 2003 to 2012 Elise served as VP & General Counsel for T.A.W., Inc., an oilfield services company with $200 million in revenue across multiple states. Prior to T.A.W., Elise worked for several years as an associate at the Orrick firm in Silicon Valley in the corporate division forming and advising startups and public companies regarding securities compliance, mergers & acquisitions, and initial public offerings. Before her time with Orrick, Elise worked as in-house corporate counsel for Varian Associates, Inc. in Palo Alto, California. Elise obtained a B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 1989 and a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1992.

Don Robert

Don currently serves as Chairman of Experian, a global credit and marketing services company with over $4 billion in sales and 15,000 employees. Prior to his appointment as Chairman, Don was Experian’s Chief Executive Officer and previously Chief Executive Officer of Experian North America. Don has extensive international business expertise, as well as more recent regulatory knowledge gained with his role as Member of the Court at the Bank of England, and he ensures that the AcreTrader culture is one of robust debate, openness and transparency. He previously held senior roles in The First American Corporation and was President of Credco, Inc., former chairman of the US Consumer Data Industry Association, trustee of Sage Hill School, California and a director and trustee of the National Education and Employer Partnership Taskforce.

Warren Jenson

Warren C. Jenson is the Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President of Acxiom. He also serves as President of Acxiom International. Prior to joining Acxiom, he served as COO at Silver Spring Networks, a successful start-up specializing in smart grid networking technology, where he had responsibility for the company’s service delivery, operations and manufacturing organizations. From 2002 – 2008 he was CFO at Electronic Arts Inc., a leading global interactive entertainment software company. He has more than 30 years of experience in strategy and operational finance and has been a part of some of the most important success stories of the last two decades, including his tenure as CFO with Amazon.com, NBC, Delta Airlines and Electronic Arts. He also helped shape and successfully navigate digital transformations at NBC and Delta Airlines. In addition, he was twice designated one of the “Best CFOs in America” by Institutional Investor magazine, and he was also honored as Bay Area Venture CFO of the Year in 2010 He also has significant M&A and corporate development experience. Warren’s board experience includes Digital Globe (NYSE: DGI), Tapjoy, and the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master of accountancy degree, both from Brigham Young University.
