Founding Partner & Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Zinn founded Atalaya to capitalize on his experience in sourcing and investing in credit opportunities. Mr. Zinn was previously responsible for HBK's strategy to originate and invest in corporate and real estate loans and other special situation investments. Prior to HBK, Mr. Zinn established Highbridge/Zwirn Capital Management's European investment effort and concentrated on media and telecom special situation investments in the U.S. Mr. Zinn was also a private equity investment professional at Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. and began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Los Angeles office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Zinn received a BA, magna cum laude, in Physics and Economics from Claremont McKenna College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was an NCAA All-American tennis player.

David Aidi

Mr. Aidi has extensive experience in alternative credit investing and has deep experience executing specialty finance and corporate transactions. Prior to joining Atalaya, Mr. Aidi was the Portfolio Manager in charge of the Direct Lending Group and a member of the Investment Committee at Magnetar Capital, LLC. Prior to Magnetar, Mr. Aidi was a corporate analyst at Highbridge/Zwirn, focused on private lending and special opportunities investments, where he worked closely with Mr. Zinn. Mr. Aidi began his career at Merrill Lynch, holding positions within the High Yield Capital Markets Group as well as the Telecommunications, Media and Technology Investment Banking Group. Mr. Aidi earned a BS in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the Stern School of Business at New York University and is a current member of the NYU Young Alumni Leadership Council.

Michael Bogdan

Mr. Bogdan has been with Atalaya since inception and has extensive investment experience in media and telecommunications. Prior to joining Atalaya, Mr. Bogdan was with Alta Communications, a leading private equity firm focused on small to middle-market media and telecommunication investments where he was responsible for originating, structuring, and managing equity investments in traditional media, new media, and telecommunication service industries. Prior to Alta Communications, Mr. Bogdan was at Comdisco Ventures, the venture capital arm of Comdisco, where he invested equity and subordinated debt in a broad range of technology companies. Mr. Bogdan began his career as an investment banking Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Bogdan received a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Raymond Chan

Mr. Chan has extensive experience in originating and investing in a range of financial assets, focused on specialty finance transactions. Prior to joining Atalaya, Mr. Chan was a partner and co-founder of TTM Capital, LLC, an investment firm focused on acquiring and lending against portfolios of financial and other assets. Prior to TTM, Mr. Chan was a Managing Director and co-head of the Assets Group at D.B. Zwirn & Co. Previously, Mr. Chan was a member of the Principal Transaction and Principal Finance teams at Lehman Brothers, and worked on numerous securitizations across multiple asset classes at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Chan began his career as a consultant at Price Waterhouse, followed by an internal consulting and operations roles at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Chan received a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University.
