Since Jonathan co-founded Atlanta Property Group in 2003, the company has grown its portfolio to more than 3 million square feet, making it a top 5 owner of office properties – and the largest private, local owner – in the Atlanta market. During the same period, the APG team has grown to include more than 45 exceptional members providing a full array of services to APG’s portfolio. Jonathan focuses primarily on APG’s equity and debt capital market relationships, oversight of APG’s property operating platform, and supervision of the firm’s administration. Prior to forming Atlanta Property Group in 2003, Jonathan spent four years as Vice President of Apex Supply Company, a wholesale distributor of plumbing supplies, heating and air conditioning, and other building materials. Atlanta-based Apex Supply, founded by the Rodbell family in 1949, was acquired by The Home Depot in 2000 and subsequently operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary. Before moving back to Atlanta, Jonathan worked for Lazard Freres & Co. in New York as an Associate in the Real Estate Private Equity Group. Jonathan began his career at JMB Realty/Heitman Financial in Chicago as a member of the acquisitions team. Jonathan earned a B.S. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of The Westminster Schools where he remains involved as an active parent. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta, is Co-founder of the Georgia Group political action committee, is a member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s (AIPAC) New Leadership Network, is a Director of the Buckhead Coalition, a Member of the Urban Land Institute, and has served on the Board of Camp Sunshine and the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. Jonathan is a native of Atlanta and currently lives in Buckhead with his wife Heather and their two sons.

During the same period, the APG team has grown to include more than 45 exceptional members providing a full array of services to APG’s portfolio. Court focuses primarily on investment strategy, oversight of APG’s leasing efforts and furthering the company’s relationships in the Atlanta real estate community. Prior to forming Atlanta Property Group, Court spent five years with Lowe Enterprises, Inc., acquiring office and industrial properties on behalf of the firm’s pension fund clients. Prior to Lowe, he worked with GE Capital and The Brookdale Group in a variety of capacities. In total, Court has helped to execute more than $2 billion in commercial real estate transactions over the course of his career. Court earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University and is a graduate of the Westminster Schools in Atlanta. He currently serves as a member of the Steering Committee for the Steers Center for Global Real Estate at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, as the President of the Westminster Alumni Association and as a mentor at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. Professional affiliations include NAIOP and the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. Court is a native of Atlanta and currently lives in Buckhead with his wife Kristin and their three sons.
Austin joined Atlanta Property Group in January of 2013 and heads the leasing department. During his time at APG Austin and his team have completed over 450 transactions totaling over $130 million in new rental income. Prior to joining Atlanta Property Group, Austin spent a total of 8 years with Lavista Associates where he represented institutional and local landlords and established a proven track record developing and executing successful real estate leasing plans. He employed his experience, market knowledge and solid business and community relationships to lease a variety of office assets, including suburban mid-rise buildings, low-rise business parks, and mixed-use developments. He has experience in all phases of the leasing process from financial analysis through lease negotiations. Austin has been active in the Atlanta real estate market since 2000 specializing in the office market. He is a multiyear member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club and has been recognized as a Costar “Power Broker.” Austin is a native Atlantan and graduated from Woodward Academy and the University of Georgia. He now lives in Garden Hills with his wife Meredith and their two children. Austin is an active parent at Woodward Academy and spends his weekends at Buckhead Baseball and Tophat Soccer.
Shep joined Atlanta Property Group in the summer of 2011 and focuses primarily on acquisitions and dispositions as well as equity and debt financings. During his time at APG, Shep has been involved in principal transactions totaling over $500 million. Previously, he spent four years in the commercial mortgage banking industry working in the Atlanta office of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, a subsidiary of BB&T. Shep concluded his time at Grandbridge serving as a commercial loan originator. While at Grandbridge, he was involved in over $350 million of closed debt transactions with various capital sources including life insurance companies, CMBS lenders, and commercial banks. Shep earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and a MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He is a member of NAIOP and is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia and North Carolina. Shep is a native of Atlanta and currently lives in Buckhead with his wife Elaine and their two sons.
