Richard is the Co-Founder and a Managing Principal of Avistone. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services and real estate and mortgage industry. He has successfully completed more than $2 billion of multi-housing, commercial and hospitality property and mortgage transactions. Prior to founding Avistone, Richard was a senior executive at Auction.com | Commercial. While there, he was personally responsible for procuring and overseeing the auction sale of more than $600 million of multifamily, commercial and hospitality properties nationwide. Over the course of his career, Richard has held senior positions in the multi-housing and commercial real estate departments of Wall Street firms, commercial banks and real estate brokerage firms, including Salomon Smith Barney, Commercial Capital Bank (now JP Morgan Chase), Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage and Wedge Capital Partners. He started his career in the institutional financial markets at Drexel Burnham Lambert where he developed an expertise in trading mortgage-backed securities and hedging interest rate risk in the financial futures markets. Richard has been a speaker and panelist at numerous commercial real estate conferences over the years, most recently discussing distressed assets and the auction process at NAIOP and Special Asset Management Association events. He received a B.A. degree in Economics from San Diego State University, and is a licensed California real estate broker. Richard resides in San Clemente, California. Daniel is the Co-Founder and a Managing Principal of Avistone, where he is primarily responsible for asset acquisition and investment services. Daniel brings more than 20 years of experience in the private equity investment, asset management and commercial real estate brokerage industries, and has successfully completed more than $2 billion of property transactions. Prior to founding Avistone, Daniel served as the Chief Operating Officer of Auction.com | Commercial, where he formed the commercial auction division and developed strategic partnerships with global multifamily and commercial real estate services firms, special services and banks. Prior to Auction.com, Daniel was Vice President of Asset Management and Dispositions at CT Realty Corporation (now, CTR Investors based in Newport Beach, California) where he played an integral role in acquiring, managing and disposing of opportunistic, value-added real estate investments including multifamily, industrial, R&D, office and retail properties. During his tenure at CT, the firm acquired 153 properties including 5,450 apartment and housing units and 9.5 million square feet of commercial space valued at more than $1.5 billion. Daniel is an active member of the OCAR, NAIOP, ICSC and NAREIT organizations and is a licensed California real estate broker. Daniel received his BS in Finance and MBA from California Polytechnic University and resides in Orange County, California.
