Capital Solutions, Inc. ("CSI") is an investment firm specializing in real estate and growth-stage private equity opportunities. Through a large network of private and institutional investors, more than $170 million of mezzanine and equity capital has been successfully deployed in real estate and private equity, representing a total portfolio value of over $900 million. Capital Solutions Real Estate (CSRE) invests in transactions as a principal for its own account or in joint venture with proven sponsors based upon a minimum risk-return criteria. Most recent investments include student housing and multifamily, medical office, and single-tenant net-leased properties. CSRE's portfolio has included all types of real estate: office, retail, industrial, multifamily, land, parking garages, etc. Historically, real estate has been an effective hedge against inflation and market volatility, as well as a preferred method of diversification for investors. Real estate assets today, moreover, are available at prices below replacement cost as a result of the severe market declines during this last recessionary cycle. As such, with little new supply in the pipeline, investors have the potential to benefit from above-average returns over the coming cycle, which should see real estate returns outpace other investments.
