Capstone Equities was formed to make strategic, value added investments in real estate related opportunities throughout major Commercial Business Districts with emphasis on New York and Washington DC; targeting office, multi-family, mixed-use and retail. Capstone Equities is owned and managed by Joshua Zamir and Daniel Ghadamian, who combined have over 25 years of experience in the real estate sector and a track record of placing over $200 million of equity and purchasing over $1 billion of real estate assets over the last 5 years. Joshua was a founding principal of Zamir Equities, a Manhattan based real estate company and previously the principal director at The Moinian Group. Daniel was the director of acquisitions at Zamir Equities where he handled the purchase and refinancing of over 2.5 million square feet in a 24 month time frame. They have owned, managed and/or invested in over 25 transactions including such prominent properties as 14 Wall, 4 New York Plaza, 80 Broad, 44 Wall, 132 West 31st street, 30 Flatbush Avenue, 587 Fifth Avenue and 156 William Street. The Company has completed transactions with top tier institutional investment partners such as The Carlyle Group, Capmark Investors (TRECAP Partners), and Harbor Group International.

Daniel Gradamian

Daniel Ghadamian, managing principal of Capstone Equities, is responsible for leasing, sales, marketing and public relations in addition to sourcing new deals, asset management, construction, and redevelopment. Previously, Daniel was the director of acquisitions at Zamir Equities, a Manhattan based real estate firm where he was involved in commercial management and leasing, legal affairs, construction, and investor relations. He became the director of acquisitions and assisted in the purchase and refinancing of over 2.5 million square feet, such as the acquisitions of 80 Broad Street, 5 Hanover, 132 West 31st Street. Daniel began his career at Deutsche Bank, where he was a real estate investment analyst working with developers and institutional clients. Daniel attended the George Washington University where he earned his degree in Finance. Daniel is actively involved with AIPAC and serves on its Real Estate Board.

Principal

Jomathan Scheinberg

Jonathan Scheinberg, a principal of Capstone Equities, originally joined the company in 2007 as its General Counsel. He is currently responsible for managing acquisitions, sourcing new investment opportunities, structuring joint venture partnerships, negotiating purchase agreements and all leases. Jonathan oversees asset management and tenant matters in Capstone’s building portfolio. Prior to Capstone, Jonathan worked as an Associate at Schulte, Roth and Zabel LLP and later at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld LLP where he represented private equity and hedge funds, owners and developers of investment properties in the acquisition/disposition, development, complex joint venture structuring and financing as well as advising investment managers with respect to the formation and operation of real estate, private equity and hedge funds. Prior to law school, Jonathan started his career as an investment banking analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Jonathan graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor Degree in Economics and went on to graduate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with concentrations in both Real Estate and Taxation. Jonathan is a member of the bar of the State of New York.
