Mr. Trotter is Chief Investment Officer of Centennial Holding Company, LLC and is responsible for all aspects of Centennial’s asset acquisition, due diligence and disposition functions. Since joining Centennial in 2007, he has initiated more than $1 billion in transaction volume encompassing 7,150 units in six states. Prior to joining Centennial, Trotter worked for Archstone-Smith (formerly NYSE: ASN) as Vice President of Acquisitions and Dispositions where he initiated more than 60 transactions. During the course of his nine year tenure at Archstone-Smith, he was involved in more than $6 billion of multifamily transactions in acquisitions, dispositions and development roles. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia.
Mr. Payne is a founding member and Chairman of Centennial Holding Company, LLC. Under his leadership, Centennial’s portfolio has grown to over 10,000 units, 35 communities and more than $1 billion in asset value. Payne has held past positions as Managing Director of Gleacher & Company, Inc., Vice Chairman of Bank of America, Vice Chairman of PTEK Holdings, Inc., and Vice Chairman of WebMD. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Lincoln National (NYSE: LNC), Cousins Properties (NYSE: CUZ), Altec, Inc. and ILD Corporation. Payne is perhaps best known for his role as Chief Executive Officer of the Atlanta Committee for the 1996 Olympic Games and is the only person in modern history to lead the bid to win the Olympic Games and to continue uninterrupted as President and CEO of the Games themselves. Payne has received numerous awards and designations during his career and has twice been named Georgian of the Year. He has also been recognized as one of the 20th Century’s Top 100 Individuals in the American South. Payne earned both his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Georgia.
