Charles River Realty Investors LLC is a real estate investment firm that employs the extensive operating and investment experience of its team to make value-added real estate investments on behalf of its institutional clients. The firm and its principals have successfully acquired and/or developed over 20 million square feet of real estate with a value of over $3 billion. On behalf of its institutional clients, Charles River seeks a range of investments involving well-located commercial real estate in which, through the investment of capital and employing of our operating expertise, property income can be increased through re-leasing, repositioning, or redevelopment, thereby creating value. We invest throughout the Northeast, with a particular focus on the Boston metropolitan area. In addition to making direct equity investments which will be operated by National Development, we will invest in joint ventures with third-party owners and operators. We invest in all major property types, including office, industrial, retail and housing, as well as healthcare-related properties (senior housing, medical office, research lab) and hospitality.

Brian Kavoogian
Mr. Kavoogian formed Charles River Realty Investors in 2006. Prior to forming Charles River, he was a principal of The Davis Companies, a Boston-based investment and development firm. From 1984 to 2000, Mr. Kavoogian was with Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. (HFF), a leading real estate investment banking firm, most recently as a Senior Managing Director and head of the Boston Office.
Bryan Clancy
Mr. Clancy serves as Managing Director and is responsible for the firm’s asset management function. Drawing on his depth of experience in finance, development and institutional asset level project management, he is responsible for overseeing the execution of asset plans and for initiating best practices for the company’s property portfolio. Mr. Clancy is also involved in the evaluation of new investment opportunities. Prior to his current role, Mr. Clancy worked as a Senior Vice President at National Development which he joined in 1988.
Tucker Kelton
Mr. Kelton joined Charles River Realty Investors in 2014 and is responsible for the acquisition and repositioning of new investments. Before joining the firm, he worked at Beacon Capital Partners where he was involved in real estate transactions throughout the US. His work focused on the acquisition, financing, and disposition of value-added office property investments. Prior to Beacon, he was a Senior Financial Analyst in the Capital Markets group at Boston Properties where he was involved in acquisitions, property financings and development underwriting. Mr. Kelton began his career at CB Richard Ellis in Boston.
Edward Marsteiner, II
Mr. Marsteiner serves as the Director of Acquisitions. With a diverse background in engineering, development and real estate private equity investment, his experiences have ranged from the rezoning, permitting and financing of complex mixed-use development projects to the acquisition and disposition of varied product types throughout the eastern half of the United States. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Marsteiner worked on the acquisition and disposition of value-added investments for New Boston Fund.
