Brandon Cooper

Brandon has spearheaded the acquisition of over $110 million worth of real estate assets in the last four years, which include nearly 1,000 multifamily units across the United States. Prior to founding Cooper Street Capital, he was the co-founder of two other real estate investment firms, Maroon Peak Partners and I-95 Ventures.

Matt Cooper

Prior to joining Cooper Street Capital, Matt worked with the US Delegation to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, Switzerland and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France. As an economist, Matt executed several large research projects related to the international trade system and the economics of corporate governance frameworks.

James Gutierrez

James brings to Cooper Street Capital extensive operational and management expertise. With more than 10 years of experience in multifamily construction and operations management, James was previously Director of Projects & Construction Operations at Acres Designs in Palo Alto, CA. He has also held senior management roles at Centro Community Partners, Horizon Retail Construction, and Daymark Real Estate.

Emily began her career in the financial services industry, and holds a BS in Finance from the University of Colorado. She expanded her real estate accounting knowledge working with private developers and high net-worth individuals in Aspen, CO. Over the course of her career, Emily has been responsible for for construction budgets in excess of $100M, developing and implementing internal accounting controls, and in leading all financial activities associated with various businesses.
