Crichton Yatsko

Crichton Yatsko, P.C. specializes in tax protests and appeals for commercial property owners. We protest property valuations for a wide variety of commercial property including apartment buildings, office buildings, and retail centers. Property tax is often a large expense affecting the bottom line of commercial property owners. Yet, many property owners do not appeal their tax assessment even when they know that the assessment does not reflect the correct value of their property. Don’t let the short appeal window or the unknown of the appeals process stop you from protesting an inaccurate valuation. The PTA team of attorneys and property valuation specialists will help you assess your property and navigate the Colorado Property Tax appeal process. We handle all aspects of the property tax reduction process: from filing the property tax appeals, preparing all necessary appraisal work, negotiating with the County Assessor’s office and, appearing at the board hearing on your behalf. If you miss the initial property tax protest filing deadline, you still may be able to file for an abatement to challenge the assessed value of the property. By providing our services on a contingent fee basis, rather than charging an hourly rate, we can keep our clients’ overhead low without affecting their bottom line. If our efforts do not result in a reduction or a refund of taxes, we do not receive a fee.
