Brent Heath

Brent D. Heath is a Partner at Cypress; responsible for financing, performance measurement, structuring, and valuation. Since joining Cypress in 1999, he has held various accounting, financial and asset management positions. Mr. Heath received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Oklahoma Christian University, and came to Cypress from Heerema Marine Contractors, an international oil services and infrastructure construction company. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Urban Land Institute.

John Burnham

John Burnham is a partner in Cypress Real Estate Advisors and a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Burnham is based in Austin and oversees all of Cypress Real Estate Advisors acquisitions, joint venture, and disposition activities as well as strategic growth initiatives. Mr. Burnham has been active in the real estate industry for over 16 years and has developed and invested in excess of $1.5B of real estate on behalf of Bozzuto Development Company, Simmons Vedder Partners, Cypress Real Estate Advisors, and most recently Argyle Residential where he maintains a position on the Argyle Board of Directors and Investment Committee. Argyle Residential is active in the major markets in Texas and in Denver Colorado and has been the most active infill multi-family developer in the City of Austin since 2011. Argyle is responsible for over $1B of development activity, 5,000 units, and 18 projects since its inception in January of 2011. Prior to Argyle Residential, Mr. Burnham was a Vice President and Partner at Simmons Vedder Partners where he was responsible for the development and acquisition of multifamily projects. Mr. Burnham was also previously associated with the Bozzuto Group in Washington, D.C. as a Development Manager in their multifamily and land development groups. Mr. Burnham received a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Explore Austin Board of Directors and JDRF Austin Board of Directors.

Stephen Clark

Stephen T. Clark is the Chairman at Cypress Real Estate Advisors. Prior to founding Cypress in 1995, Mr. Clark was a Managing Director at Harvard Private Capital Group, a subsidiary of Harvard Management Company, where he directed the group responsible for all real estate investment activities. Before joining Harvard in 1991, Mr. Clark was a partner with an affiliate of Harvard Management Company in Clark-Pilgrim Limited Partnership. From 1982 through 1989, Mr. Clark was employed by the Trammell Crow Company, where he was the partner in charge of Philadelphia commercial activities at the time of his departure. Mr. Clark received his undergraduate degree in Management Science from Duke University in 1976 and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1981.

Timothy Clark

M. Timothy Clark is a Partner (President) of Cypress and is responsible for supervising investment and acquisition analysis and for the coordination of the firm’s development activities. Before joining Cypress at its founding in 1995, he was President of Helios Property Company, a developer and owner of residential, golf course and industrial properties. Prior to that, Mr. Clark was a Manager at Andersen Consulting in its Financial Services division. Mr. Clark received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and a Masters in Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Clark is currently a member of the Executive Council for The University of Texas' Real Estate Finance and Investment Center and the Advisory Board for the University of Florida’s Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Council of Austin and the Board of Directors for Scenic Austin, the local chapter of Scenic Texas, Inc.

Shaun Dickerson

Shaun-Elizabeth Dickerson is a Partner at Cypress where she is responsible for investor relations and capital markets activities. Ms. Dickerson also oversees investor reporting and other portfolio management duties. Ms. Dickerson previously worked at Crow Holdings in Dallas, managing investments on behalf of the Trammell Crow family and its investment partners. After completing the analyst program at Crow, she was promoted to the Portfolio Management group. Ms. Dickerson is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in French. She is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Advisory Council of the University of Texas Real Estate Finance & Investment Center.

Dudley Simmons

Dudley Simmons is a partner in Cypress Real Estate Advisors and a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Simmons is based in Austin and oversees all of Cypress Real Estate Advisors acquisitions, joint venture, and disposition activities as well as strategic growth initiatives. During his career, Mr. Simmons has been directly responsible for total real estate development and investment in excess of $1.75B on behalf of Argyle Residential, Cypress Real Estate Advisors, Simmons Vedder Partners, and JPI Apartment Communities. Prior to rejoining Cypress, he co-founded and was co-managing partner of Argyle Residential, where he was responsible for over $1B of development activity, including 5,000 multifamily units comprised of 18 projects. He continues to maintain a position on the Board of Directors and Investment Committee of Argyle. Mr. Simmons attended Princeton University and received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, and serves on the ULI Austin Chapter Advisory Council.
