Elmington Capital Group, LLC, is a privately owned commercial real estate investment and development firm headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. We focus on commercial real estate opportunities that provide income return and capital appreciation through a diverse array of strategic initiatives. We primarily acquire retail, office, industrial and multi-family properties in which we identify the opportunity to add value through development, re-positioning, more effective operations or creative capitalization. The principals of Elmington have extensive experience in the investment, development and financing of commercial properties throughout the southeastern United States. Cary Rosenblum

Cary serves as Elmington’s Chief Executive Officer. In this position, Cary oversees Elmington’s corporate operations and it’s three primary business divisions: Investments, Affordable Housing Development and Elmington Property Management. As one of the founding members of the company, Cary has grown the company from 2 employees to over 150. Cary focuses on developing and managing Elmington’s operational and financial goals, strategic growth plans, and investment opportunities. He provides leadership on the day to day corporate activities as well as the long-term goals of the company. Cary is also involved with investment and financing activities, focusing on new business development, identification of attractive assets for acquisition and corporate relations with financial partners. Cary also currently serves as a Board Member for the Housing Fund, Inc, a non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). Prior to Elmington, Cary served as Vice President in Regions Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group, a $140 billion financial institution, where he financed in excess of $500 million of commercial real estate transactions through debt and equity executions. Cary graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Business Administration where he also received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA). He lives in Nashville with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children.

Ben Brewer

Ben oversees the day to day operations of Elmington’s property management company and its impact on corporate return and tactical direction. He is involved with the acquisition of conventional income producing assets—focusing on investor relations and financing. As a founding member of Elmington Capital, Ben is a principal lead in the company’s overall strategic development and corporate growth objectives. Prior to his role at Elmington, Ben served as Vice President in Regions Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group. There he managed a $500 million portfolio of commercial real estate loan assets of all product types. Ben holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. He lives in Nashville with his wife, Jennie, and their three children.

Ryan Seibels

Ryan leads Elmington’s acquisition of conventional income producing property through a focus on analysis and identification of attractive new assets. He oversees asset management in the office, industrial, and retail portfolios including: marketing and leasing oversight, investor relations, financing opportunities, and dispositions analysis. As a principal of the firm, he participates in determining overall strategic & corporate growth objectives. Before joining Elmington, Ryan served as Vice President in Fifth Third Bank’s commercial real estate credit group where he facilitated restructures of loans in all asset classes. Prior to Firth Third, Ryan acted as acquisition analyst for Harbert Management Corporation, a multi-billion dollar commercial real estate investment firm, sourcing and underwriting value-add acquisitions throughout the Southeast. While at Harbert, Ryan participated in over $500 million in transaction volume and $125 million in equity commitments. Ryan received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. Ryan serves as a Board Member for Residential Resources, Inc, and is an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. He lives in Nashville with his wife, Mary Katherine, and their daughter.

Hunter Nelson

Hunter provides leadership on Elmington’s affordable housing portfolio. With an expertise in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) development, Hunter oversees Elmington’s 4% bond financed and 9% competitive tax credit development portfolio. He is responsible for the affordable housing strategic direction and day to day operations, including: sourcing new construction and rehabilitation deals, project management, financial analysis, government relations, syndication, and due diligence activities. As a principal of the firm, he participates in determining overall corporate growth objectives. Hunter joined Elmington Capital after serving as a Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager at First Tennessee Bank. In this capacity, he managed an approximate $150 million portfolio of commercial real estate assets; overseeing the credit approval process, underwriting new loan opportunities, managing the construction draw process, performing market analysis and analyzing ongoing risk. Hunter graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors of Business Administration. He lives in Nashville with his wife, Leslie, and their daughter.
