Tom Rybak serves as Franklin Street’s Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the company’s IT operation and organization. He leads the coordination, decision making, and planning of the IT department as well as provides direction and support for IT solutions by working closely with company executives to identify and implement cost-effective technology solutions for Franklin Street.
Since joining the company, he designed and transferred Franklin Street to a new Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network, a high-performance telecommunications network delivering fast and seamless communication for employees. He migrated the company’s email to Office 365, saving thousands of dollars in hardware, licensing, and administration costs and was integral in replacing and updating Franklin Street’s telephone system, introducing a more robust and flexible Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) solution. He also developed and engaged the company’s Intranet, providing an outlet for internal employee communications in a cloud-based server environment with a disaster recovery solution. Currently, he is guiding the company through the integration of Franklin Street’s proprietary client relationship manager (CRM) platform, an internal collaborative communication tool.
With more than 10 years in the field, Mr. Rybak previously worked served as Senior Network Engineer for The Bank of Tampa, where he leveraged his knowledge of hardware, software, and web technologies in a variety of roles from help desk support to maintaining an electronic banking site with assets totaling more than $1 billion. In 2002, Mr. Rybak established a very successful technology news and review website. As the President and Chief Editor, Mr. Rybak and his staff covered a broad spectrum of computer hardware, software, industry analysis, and nearly all aspects of high-performance computing.
As a leader within Franklin Street, Mr. Rybak was named the company’s 2013 Corporate Employee of the Year, received the 2012 Biggest Impact award, and was named Outstanding Contributor in 2011 and 2012. He also volunteers for the Academy Prep Center of Tampa sitting on its Technology Committee.
Since joining Franklin Street in 2010, Will Sadlowski has played an integral role in the development of the young, fast-growing real estate company. As Chief Financial Officer for Franklin Street, Mr. Sadlowski provides operational and strategic direction to the executive team through extensive financial analysis. His agile approach and leadership abilities have led the company to achieve a revenue increase of over 407 percent from 2010 to 2015.
Mr. Sadlowski plays a key role working with company leaders to identify opportunities for growth and managing risks and expenses to achieve business goals. He is responsible for managing and implementing the use of legal, financial, human resource, and accounting policies and procedures. He is also essential in negotiating all new-hire contracts which enables Franklin Street to continue to bring top commercial real estate producers to each of its five locations.
His widespread experience includes meeting Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) filing requirements, interpreting new accounting pronouncements, reporting of acquisitions and divestitures of businesses, and implementing internal controls. Mr. Sadlowski started his career at Grant Thornton LLP, where he served both large and medium-sized public and private companies in a variety of industries, including real estate, construction, manufacturing, distribution, technology, and financial services.
In addition to his role as the CFO, he also serves as a member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of Finance Committee and is an Executive Member of the Technology Committee. He maintains several affiliations with organizations across the Tampa Bay community including the Tampa Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Tampa Class of 2013 and Tampa Connection’s Class of 2010.
Danny York is the Chief Operating Officer of Franklin Street. In five years, Danny has helped build Franklin Street into a company with four offices in the Southeast (including one in Atlanta, where he currently lives) and more than $300 million in annual transactions nationwide.
As COO, Danny oversees Franklin Street’s day-to-day operations of the four offices and 220 employees. Since he was appointed COO in November 2009, Franklin Street has experienced over 600% revenue growth. Under Danny’s direction, the Atlanta office’s revenues have increased 78% from 2010 to 2011, and in 2011 the Atlanta property management portfolio added over 1.5 million square feet of commercial property.
Danny is extremely involved in the industry. He is a member of NAIOP (a commercial real estate development association), International Council of Shopping Centers, and Urban Land Institute (ULI). Most impressive is Danny’s recent acceptance as one of only 33 participants in ULI Atlanta’s Center for Leadership, a selective program for emerging leaders in the real estate and land use industries.
In the community, Danny and Franklin Street are active supporters of Habitat for Humanity (30 employees recently participated in a project) and will be donating time at the Atlanta Community Food Bank during the holidays. Danny is also a contributor to international nonprofit Very Special Arts.
Danny began his career in Atlanta with Marcus and Millichap Capital as a debt analyst in 2001. He later left the area to help a California-based bank grow their nationwide multifamily lending platform, where he was the top-producing East Coast account executive both years with the company. He moved back to Marcus and Millichap Capital to oversee three markets in Florida before founding Franklin Street in 2006.
A highly-driven entrepreneur, Andrew Wright established Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate firm, in December 2006 and led it through the market downturn beginning in 2008. Through his leadership and unyielding dedication, Franklin Street now boasts more than 200 employees in five offices in major markets throughout the Southeast. As CEO and Managing Partner, Mr. Wright develops and defines strategic goals and major initiatives for Franklin Street and its four dynamic verticals. Wright has led Franklin Street to several awards including Best Places to Work by the Tampa Bay Times and the Tampa Bay Business Journal, and has been named one of the fastest-growing companies in Tampa Bay since 2010.
He has deep experience in the industry, with personal involvement in more than $1 billion in real estate and finance transactions. He has been active in many high profile projects including the $1 billion revitalization of downtown Tampa and its waterfront. He has deep experience in distressed real estate, having negotiated the resolution of over $800 million in debt since 2009.
An acknowledged leader and forward thinker, Mr. Wright has shared his market outlook and economic forecast during a variety of industry conferences throughout the Southeast including the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), RealShare Distressed Assets Conference, and others.
