Hall Equities Group (HEG) is a private, full-service real estate investment, development and property management company, active in eleven states. We represent the interests of select private investors and company-sponsored group investment entities. We organize and manage these investment opportunities on behalf of our partners, their families, our shareholders and our key employees – many of whom have been with the firm for more than 25 years. HEG maintains an active real estate development and investment focus, and our agency services have grown to support these activities. Hall Equities Group was originally founded in 1962.

Mr. Hall graduated with Honors in 1982 from UCLA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Mr. Hall started his professional real estate career with the Western U.S. Division of New York-based Tishman Management and Leasing Corporation, which, at the time, was California’s largest owner/operator of urban core high-rise office buildings. Mr. Hall left Tishman in 1987 and began assembling investor groups to acquire distressed commercial property during the market downturn of the 80’s and early 90’s. In 1992, he acquired a 50% interest in his father’s property management business. By the year 2000, when Mr. Hall completed his acquisition of 100% of the newly re-named Hall Equities Group, Mr. Hall had transformed the organization into a diversified full-service income property investment, development and property management group.
A 26-year commercial real estate veteran, Brandon Farrell is Senior Vice President – Business Development at Hall Equities Group. Mr. Farrell has been a key contributor to Hall Equities Group for over 10 years. As SVP-Business Development, Mr. Farrell’s primary responsibility is to identify and execute on new business opportunities including prospective development opportunities, leasing opportunities, re-positioning of existing assets and marketing strategy for the commercial portfolio. Mr. Farrell is also responsible for overall supervision and management of the leasing responsibilities for the Hall Equities Group commercial Real Estate portfolio, which consists of retail, office and industrial properties. This includes lease up of new Company developments and adaptive re-use projects, as well as management of existing stabilized assets with routine lease turnovers.
As Director of Property Operations, Mr. Hall is responsible for activities tied to property performance for the HEG managed portfolio of stabilized assets. This includes oversight of operational risk management, revenue and financial management, tenant and client relations, leasing, and facilities and building maintenance across all geographies and asset types. Prior to joining Hall Equities Group, Mr. Hall spent 15 years at Franklin Templeton Investments in various positions in the real estate securities and financial services industry, leaving Franklin Templeton as Global Director of Enterprise Management. Before joining Franklin Templeton, Mr. Hall served as an officer for Angeles Corporation, a nationwide real estate limited partnership producer, managing marketing and operations in seven states.
Dan Sicotte joined Hall Equities Group in October 2012 as its Corporate Controller. Prior to coming on board, Mr. Sicotte served as Controller for three different publicly-held technology companies over a period of nearly 20 years. Over that time, he managed the accounting work for five different underwritten public offerings which collectively raised $650M in debt and equity capital, and gained significant experience managing accounting operations for fast-growth companies. At Hall Equities Group, Mr. Sicotte’s primary roles involve managing financial reporting and analysis, coordinating annual tax preparation for investment entities, maintaining corporate accounting and budgeting, and providing transactional support for the company’s various property management operations.
