Jamestown was established in 1983 as an investment and management company focused on income-producing real estate in the United States. Over the last 30 years, Jamestown has expanded into a national, vertically integrated real estate operator with approximately $7.1 billion of assets under management. Jamestown’s capabilities include: acquisitions, capital markets, property management, asset management, retail leasing, design, sustainability and risk management. Jamestown employs more than 230 professionals in the United States, with headquarters in Atlanta, GA, and New York, NY and additional offices in Washington, DC, Boston, MA and San Francisco, CA. All real estate acquisition and asset management activities are coordinated out of the U.S. offices, as well as fundraising, marketing and investor relations for institutional investors. The related company, Jamestown US Immobilien GmbH, has approximately 40 employees based in Cologne, Germany, who are focused on investor relations, fundraising and marketing for European investors as well as portfolio and risk management of core funds for German investors.

Lee Wright Jr.
Lee Wright currently serves as President of Jamestown Commercial Management Company and Jamestown Tax Services. He joined Jamestown in 2002 as a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, and in 2012, was named Chief Compliance Officer for Jamestown Properties. After becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 1986, Wright went on to become a Partner with the accounting firm of Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC, where he served as Chairman of the Executive Committee. During his 20 years in public accounting, Mr. Wright’s practice focused on real estate, construction and closely-held, family-owned commercial businesses. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of West Georgia in 1984.
Matt Bronfman
Matt Bronfman is the Chief Executive Officer of Jamestown Properties and currently serves as the President. When Bronfman first joined Jamestown in 1998, he served as General Counsel working with the acquisitions and management departments. In 2002, Bronfman was named a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, serving as the President of Jamestown Properties, the parent company. Prior to joining Jamestown, Bronfman began his law practice at what is now Holland & Knight in Atlanta, Ga., specializing in real estate development and acquisitions. Bronfman graduated PPhi BBeta KKappa and summa cum laude from Tufts University in 1988 and attended law school at Northwestern University, graduating magna cum laude in 1991.

Matt Rendle currently serves as Managing Director of Asset Management, and was previously an Associate in the Acquisitions and Asset Management groups. Prior to joining Jamestown, Rendle was an Associate in the Acquisitions Department of Wells Real Estate Funds. Rendle received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Haverford College and a Masters in mBusiness bAdministrationa from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Rendle is affiliated with the Urban Land Institute and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.

Shak Presswala is the Managing Director of Acquisitions and Capital Markets. Prior to this most recent advancement, Presswala initially joined Jamestown as a Senior Associate in Acquisitions, and then moved from Vice President to Vice President of Acquisitions and Capital Markets before serving in his current position. Prior to Jamestown, Presswala began his career as a corporate investment banking Analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and then joined Wells Real Estate Funds where he worked in Acquisitions covering the Midwest and Pacific Northwest. Presswala moved on to WestWind Capital Partners as an Acquisitions Associate and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute. Presswala received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University, and is affiliated with the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts, the Urban Land Institute, and the National Association of Office & Industrial Properties

Christoph Kahl
Christoph Kahl is one of the two founding partners of Jamestown, headquartered in Atlanta, Ga. Mr. Kahl also founded Jamestown US-Immobilien GmbH in Cologne, Germany. Residing in Cologne and frequently traveling to the United States, Kahl continues to serve as Managing Partner of both sister companies. As Chairman of the company’s investment committee, Kahl leads the acquisition, asset management and disposition discussions. He serves as Treasurer of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE) and on several advisory committees. Kahl received the Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Cologne in 1977 and has specialized in U.S. real estate for more than 30 years.
Michael Philips
Michael Philips joined Jamestown after spending 20 years as a successful national and international real estate entrepreneur and developer. Recognized for his ability to create sophisticated mixed-use districts, Mr. Phillips is the recipient of the 2010 Urban Land Institute “Development of Excellence” award for the White Provision Development and the Urban Design Commission award for the Westside Urban Market development. He is also the creative leader behind the renowned Chelsea Market in New York City and is responsible for establishing the vision and execution strategy for Jamestown’s real estate projects. He attended the American University in London. In addition to various community activities, Mr. Phillips serves as vice-chairman for the James Beard Foundation, sits on the board of governors for the Urban Land Institute and the Real Estate Board of New York and is on the board of directors for the Times Square Alliance, the Meatpacking Initiative Alliance and Boston's Back Bay Association.
