Chief Executive Officer

Michael Lynd

Michael is the CEO of Kairoi Residential providing strategic direction and leadership across the entire corporate platform. He is a co-founder of the acquisitions and development partnerships in 2003 and 2006 respectively, as well as a founding partner of Kairoi. Michael has been deeply involved in the multifamily business as an owner and operator since 1995. His 23 years of experience make him an expert in the fields of multifamily management, investment, and development. Michael has invested in, developed, and disposed of more than $4.3 billion of real estate over the past 15 years. He has a valuable network of relationships with institutional joint venture partners, lenders and property owners which he has developed over his career. Michael graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance. He is the Chairman of the Board for Alamo Regional Mobility Authority as appointed by the Governor. In connection with his role as Chairman, Michael serves on the Alamo Area MPO Transportation Policy Board and in the San Antonio Mobility Coalition. He also serves on the Advisory Board for The Bank of San Antonio and The Bank of Austin. Michael plays a large role in the San Antonio business community as well having previously held the position of Vice Chairman and currently serving on the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. When Michael isn’t busy at the office or in the San Antonio community, he enjoys being on the lake, skiing, traveling, and listening to live music.

Managing Partner

Samuel Kasparek

Sam is the Managing Partner of Kairoi providing executive leadership and direction over the entire corporate platform. He is a co-founder of the acquisitions and development partnerships in 2003 and 2006 respectively, as well as a founding partner of Kairoi. Sam has achieved national recognition in the areas of multifamily management, investment, and development. His role requires regular interaction with lenders, institutional joint venture partners, engineers, property-level vendors, and all other related parties that support and maintain each asset. He oversees the offices located in San Antonio and Denver. Sam is a former CPA and Big Four audit manager. During his more than 15 years of real estate experience, Sam has invested in, developed, and disposed of more than $4.3 billion of real estate. Sam graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, as well as a minor in Economics. He currently serves on the ULI Denver Multifamily Product Council. In his spare time, Sam likes to coach his sons’ youth flag football, soccer and baseball teams, golf, fly-fish, hunt, ski, and travel with his family.

President Of Acquisitions

Madison Marceau

Madison serves as the President of Acquisitions at Kairoi and is in charge of sourcing, valuation, capital markets, due diligence, closing and asset management of all multifamily investments. He is also a founding partner of Kairoi. Prior to Kairoi, Madison was an Associate with Archon Group, L.P. a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. During his more than 10 years in the real estate investment industry, he has acquired over 12,000 multifamily units and participated in loan acquisitions totaling $875 million of unpaid principal balance. Madison received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Botanical Garden and the Texas Biomedical Research Institute’s Founder’s Council. When Madison isn’t closing deals he likes to cycle, ski, hike, boat, and travel with his family.

President Of Development

Daniel Zunker

Daniel is the President of Development for Kairoi in charge of the development team and all development efforts across the country, including construction and asset management. He is also a founding partner of Kairoi. Daniel is a CPA and former Big Four audit manager. Prior to Kairoi, Daniel was a Development Partner at Embrey Partners. During his 15 years of real estate development experience, Daniel has developed more than $1.8 billion in multifamily from high-rise towers to garden style communities in many markets throughout the country. Daniel graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Marketing, as well as a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves as a member of the Advisory Council of The University of Texas Real Estate Center and is a member of ULI. When not grinding on development projects, Daniel spends time with his family coaching youth baseball, going to the lake, playing golf and tennis, hunting, fishing, and skiing.
