Al Lingerfelt, partner and CEO of Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners, has been active in real estate investment management for over 35 years. During his tenure, he has recorded nearly 17 million square feet of real estate acquisitions and development in six states. He is currently active in the acquisition and development activities of Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners and sits on the firm’s Investment Committee. In 1995, Al sold his prior company, Lingerfelt Development Corporation and its affiliates to Liberty Property Trust, an $8.8 billion public real estate investment trust. He simultaneously joined Liberty as Senior Vice President, overseeing strategic direction for acquisition, development and management of properties in the Virginia Region for the next 12 years. Al received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and completed his masters at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
As partner, President and Chief Investment Officer of Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners, Ryan Lingerfelt is responsible for the Company’s investment and deal structuring activities and sits on the Company’s Investment Committee. Since 2003, Ryan has structured real estate projects with tenants, equity partners and investors, and financing sources to develop and acquire in excess of $750 million in real estate, including office, medical office, health sciences, and retail. Today, Ryan is leading Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners into its third generation of commercial real estate investment management in the Eastern United States and has been instrumental in the acquisition and development of its owned portfolio of nearly 4 million square feet across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Ryan earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Real Estate Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University and his Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and Building Construction from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a licensed real estate broker in Virginia and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (“CCIM”) designation.
As partner and Chief Operating Officer of Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners, Mark Claud is responsible for strategy and operations and sits on the Company’s Investment Committee. He works to provide a variety of commercial real estate services for the firm’s clients, including: leasing, acquisition, disposition, and consulting services. Mark is the Founder and President of Commonwealth Commercial Partners, the affiliated Property Management partner of Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners. Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business, with a major of Management, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He holds the CCIM designation and is the past President of the Virginia chapter of the CCIM Institute.
As partner and Managing Director of Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners, Ken Strickler is responsible for the acquisition sourcing, underwriting/due diligence, and asset management activities for all investments and sits on the Company’s Investment Committee. Ken serves as Managing Director of Asset Management for StreamCo., the affiliated asset management partner of Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners, responsible for managing an institutional real estate portfolio consisting of over 10 million square feet of office, medical office, industrial, retail, hospitality and multi-family properties in 22 states. Ken received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematical Economics and Economics and Commerce from Hampden-Sydney College. He also holds a CCIM designation.
