Mr. McMaster is the Chief Financial Officer of Meadow Partners and is responsible for finance, control, reporting, and operations. Mr. McMaster is also the Chief Compliance Officer of Meadow Partners. Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. McMaster was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of JF Capital Advisors where he was responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions. Prior to joining JF Capital Advisors, Mr. McMaster was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP in New York where he provided audit, accounting and due diligence assistance to some of the largest hospitality and real estate companies in the world. Mr. McMaster is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York and a member of the NYSSCPA, as well as the AICPA. He graduated from Binghamton University with a B.A. in Accounting.
Mr. McDaniel is a Partner and Member of the Investment Committee of Meadow Partners and oversees the Company’s acquisition and asset management activities in Europe. Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. McDaniel was a Director in the London office of Westbrook Partners, a global real estate private equity firm with an investment volume in excess of $35 billion. Mr. McDaniel’s primary responsibilities included sourcing, negotiating and executing potential acquisitions as well as the daily asset management of Westbrook’s portfolio of assets in the United Kingdom. Mr. McDaniel previously worked in the acquisitions group of Charlesbank Capital Partners, a real estate and corporate private equity firm based in Boston which historically invested on behalf of Harvard University’s endowment fund. Prior to that, he worked for Wachovia Securities in the Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions Department where he covered public and private real estate companies in the U.S.
Mr Colin is a Principal in the London office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for the acquisition and asset management of real estate assets in Europe. Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Colin worked in the London office of Farallon Capital Management, a hedge fund with assets in excess of $20 billion, where he focused on investments in public real estate debt and equity instruments as well as in private real estate assets in Europe. Prior to joining Farallon Capital Management, Mr. Colin was an Associate with Deutsche Bank in their real estate private equity group, where he worked on the acquisition and management of a broad range of real estate asset, portfolio and corporate investments across Europe. He also worked for Credit Suisse First Boston in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department. Mr. Colin is a graduate of Paris-Dauphine University where he earned a Masters Degree in Finance.
Mr. Kaplan is Founder, Managing Partner and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Meadow Partners and is primarily responsible for the daily management, strategic direction and investment policies of the Company. Prior to forming Meadow Partners, Mr. Kaplan was a Managing Principal and Co-Chairman of the Investment Committee of Westbrook Partners. As such, he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and its institutional real estate investment funds, including the identification, evaluation, structuring and execution of investments and the formulation of policies and strategies for the ongoing asset management and disposition of investments. Mr. Kaplan initially joined Westbrook’s New York office upon its inception in April 1994, where he served as a Managing Principal responsible for Westbrook’s acquisitions efforts in the United States and Europe until February 1999. Subsequently, Mr. Kaplan founded and managed Western European Partners, L.L.C., a joint venture with Westbrook Real Estate Fund III, L.P. which acquired over $200 million of real estate assets in France and the United Kingdom. Mr. Kaplan rejoined Westbrook Partners as a Managing Principal in January 2001 to establish its London office and head Westbrook’s European operations. In November 2002, he founded Westbrook’s Paris office. Prior to joining Westbrook, Mr. Kaplan spent seven years at Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated, where he helped form The Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund, L.P. and served as its initial Director of Acquisitions. Prior to that, he worked on a variety of capital markets and investment banking transactions in Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Department and its Mergers & Acquisitions Department. Mr. Kaplan received a B.S. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987. Mr. Kaplan was appointed by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg to the Board of Directors of the Hudson River Park Trust. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center at Wharton.
Mr. Yantz is a Partner and Member of the Investment Committee of Meadow Partners and oversees the Company’s acquisition and asset management activities in the United States. Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Yantz was a Director in the San Francisco office of Westbrook Partners, a global real estate private equity firm with an investment volume in excess of $35 billion. Mr. Yantz was instrumental in opening the San Francisco office and expanding Westbrook’s acquisitions program and presence in the western United States. Prior to moving to San Francisco, Mr. Yantz was based in Westbrook’s New York office, where in addition to acquiring assets in eastern United States markets, he was also involved in Westbrook’s acquisition efforts in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Westbrook, Mr. Yantz worked in the acquisitions group of Charlesbank Capital Partners, a real estate and corporate private equity firm based in Boston which historically invested on behalf of Harvard University’s endowment fund. While at Charlesbank, Mr. Yantz focused on the acquisition of real estate assets and portfolios throughout the United States. Mr. Yantz received a B.S. with distinction from Babson College.
