Joseph A. Farkas is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Metropolitan Realty Associates LLC ("MRA"). With over 25 years as a national leader in the real estate industry, Joseph has a broad range of banking, financial, legal, political, brokerage, construction and management contacts to effectively acquire, develop, reconstruct, lease and manage commercial and residential property on a local and national basis. Prior to MRA, Mr. Farkas was an active participant in the New York City real estate market where he was responsible for the leasing and management of over 10 million square feet of office space, including 1500 Broadway, 485 Fifth Avenue, 2 Rector Street, 50 Broadway, 360 Lexington Avenue, 25 Broad Street, 850 Third Avenue, 100 Gold Street and 2 Broadway. Utilizing this broad background and professional experience Metropolitan Realty Associates LLC has purchased commercial real estate throughout the country with an estimated current valuation of over $350 million and 1,500,000 square feet. A graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Mr. Farkas resides in Garden City, New York with his wife and two daughters.

Managing Principal, Chief Investment Officer

Todd Bassen Todd Bassen is Managing Principal, Chief Investment Officer of Metropolitan Realty Associates LLC ("MRA"). With over 30 years of acquisition experience in the New York Metropolitan area, Todd Bassen has acquired over $11 billion dollars in real estate assets totaling over 31 million square feet encompassing office and high street retail. In addition, Todd has acquired over 4,000 units of residential. Prior to joining MRA, Todd spent 5 years as Senior Director of Acquisitions at Invesco Real Estate's New York City office where he was responsible for investing in the New York Metropolitan market and bought such notable deals as Brooklyn's Watchtower porffolio, which has been transformed into the veritable tech mecca Dumbo Heights office complex; Long Island City's The Factory, a one-millionsquare-foot conversion of Macy's former furniture warehouse into modem collaborative workspace; the retail condominium at The Knickerbocker hotel in Times Square; and the 400-unit residential property formerly known as Madison Belvedere. Invesco, headquartered in Dallas, TX is an investment advisory with over $775 Billion under management. Earlier, he was a senior vice president of acquisitions for 12 years at Vornado Realty Trust, one of the largest owners of New York City commercial property. He also spent five years as a managing director at Deutsche Bank-RREEF. At MRA, Todd spearheads the company's acquisition opportunities and all capital market transactions where he uses his deep knowledge of local real estate and capital markets expertise to achieve outsized, risk adjusted returns for MRA's investors. Mr. Bassen graduated from Emory University with a bachelor's degree in business administration (B.B.A). He has been a frequent guest speaker at Emory University's Goizueta Business School, Columbia University, New York University, Baruch College and numerous industry events. He is a director on the New York City Police Reserve Association's board and serves on the Real Estate Board of the Brooklyn Diocese. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Real Estate Board of New York, the Young Men' s/Women's Real Estate Association of New York and the Urban Land Institute.

Director of Acquisitions and Finance

Adam Rubinstein joined Metropolitan Realty Associates ("MRA") in 2009 as its Director of Acquisitions and Finance where he is responsible for sourcing and underwriting new investments on behalf of the firm and its equity partners, as well as maximizing the portfolio value through financing opportunities. Prior to joining MRA Mr. Rubinstein was a Director at Newmark Knight Frank in the Capital Group. At Newmark Knight Frank Mr. Rubinstein was responsible for preparing cash flow analyses for acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and due diligence on behalf of the firm's clients and its principals through its affiliated venture KG Urban Advisors. Prior to joining the Capital Group and KG Urban Advisors, Mr. Rubinstein was a member of the Financial Services group at Newmark Knight Frank, where he provided analytical support to the firm's leasing brokers and gained extensive insight into the financial interests of tenants and landlords. Prior to his position with Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Rubinstein worked with New York Life Investment Management in their Private Placements Group. He also served as an Investment Banking Analyst at CIBC World Markets. Mr. Rubinstein holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Masters degree in Real Estate Finance from New York University.
