Principal and Vice President of Finance

Andrew Lahr

Andrew (Andy) B. Lahr is the Vice President of Finance for Milhaus Development and is a principal of the company. After working several years in the banking and finance industry, Andy joined City Centre Associates. In his role, he negotiated terms and agreements with lenders and investors obtaining the financing of over $150 million in real estate development projects across the country. He has managed the finances for key projects over the last five years including The Hudson Condominiums, DeSoto Townhomes, The Maxwell and The Residences at Coconut Point. In addition to his real estate experience, Andy has served as a financial consultant for several venture and start-up companies. He also advises a pediatric therapy company on development and overall direction. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Ball State University with specialties in finance and economics. Andy is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute and the Venture Club of Indiana. Andy lives with his wife, Rion, in Fortville, Indiana where he enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Principal and Vice President of Pre-development

David Leazenby

David E. Leazenby is the Vice President of Pre-development and is a principal of the company. He has more than a decade of real estate experience while executing roles as lead developer, owner and consultant. Always an advocate for smarter development and sustainability, David has played an integral role in some of the Midwest’s most intriguing mixed-use and multi-family environments, including Carmel Lofts on Main Street in Carmel, Indiana and Eddy Street Commons at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. He has led the design and entitlements for 3,850 multi-family units and over 390,000 square feet of commercial space. He earned two bachelor’s degrees from Ball State University in environmental design and in urban planning and development. David is also a licensed real estate broker and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Additionally, he is active in the redevelopment of his neighborhood of downtown Carmel where he lives with his wife, Erica, and their two children.

Gregory Martin

Gregory (Greg) B. Martin is the Vice President of Development for Milhaus Development and is a principal of the company. He is responsible for all aspects of the development process including identification of new opportunities, obtaining financing, and completion of construction. Greg led City Centre Associates’ involvement in vertical mixed-use projects with retail developers including The Residences at Coconut Point in Estero, Florida with Simon Property Group and High Street in Houston, Texas with Trademark Property Company. His professional work encompasses development, brokerage, real estate appraisal and market analysis of investment grade properties. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University with majors in finance and real estate and a minor in French. He is a member of the Appraisal Institute, the Indiana Leadership Forum Board of Directors, Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a licensed real estate broker and certified general appraiser in Indiana. He serves on the board of the Indiana Leadership Forum as well as Second Chance, a non-profit which focuses on workforce training for ex-offenders.

Founder and President

Tadd Miller

Tadd M. Miller is the founder and president of Indianapolis-based Milhaus Ventures, LLC, the parent company of Milhaus Development and Milhaus Capital. After creating a business plan in college to pursue mixed-use developments, he co-founded City Centre Associates. The company led the renaissance of downtown living in Indianapolis and brought new life to older industrial blocks by building elegant residential buildings including The Packard, Hudson, DeSoto, Alten and Clevelander condominiums. In 2006, with a change in partnership, City Centre was reorganized and continued to pursue condominium projects including The Maxwell, The Commons at City Centre, Monon & Main, and The Residences at Coconut Point. Throughout Indiana and Florida, Tadd has led the development of more than 1,000 condominiums valued in excess of $300 million. He graduated from the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Ball State University, completed his MBA at Indiana Wesleyan University, and then received his law degree from Indiana University. He is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is a co-founder of Indianapolis-based Wellfount Pharmaceuticals, one of the state’s 40 fastest growing companies. Tadd has been named one of Indianapolis Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40,” “Young Professional of the Year” by the Young Professionals of Central Indiana and “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate.” In 2007, Junior Achievement named him “Indy’s Best and Brightest” in real estate. In his free time, Tadd is an instrument-rated pilot and enjoys traveling with his wife Julie and son Ethan.
