Mr. Leatherwood is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member of Norwich Partners. Leatherwood has been active in the hotel business since 1991. He has developed/co-developed over 2,000 hotel rooms under various major flags including: Clarion, Hampton Inn, Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Element by Westin and Homewood Suites by Hilton In addition Leatherwood developed the Onyx Hotel, a 112 room Kimpton Hotel located in downtown Boston, MA. Leatherwood has also developed various single family homes, residential subdivisions and commercial centers. Mr. Leatherwood is very involved with the local community. He has served on numerous Boards and Committees including: President of the Friends of the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) Trustee of the Norwich Public Library President of the Montshire Corporation (Children's Science Museum) Member of the Dean's Council for the Future of Dartmouth Medical School Board Member of the Upper Valley Rowing Foundation Member of the Board of Overseers Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center
Mr. Sachsse is President of Norwich Partners. Beginning with Boston's Onyx Hotel project in 2001, Sachsse partnered with Leatherwood and the two, together with the principals of Clear View LLP, co-founded Norwich Partners soon thereafter. In his tenure at Norwich Partners, Sachsse has co-developed nearly 1,500 hotel rooms under various flags. Prior to co-founding Norwich Partners, Sachsse worked in the investment management or investment banking business at Salomon Brothers, Aetna Capital Management and its affiliate Aeltus Investment Management, and Fidelity Investments. Sachsse received his AB from Dartmouth College in 1983 and his MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School in 1989.
