Oxford Properties Group

Oxford’s US portfolio includes strategic investments in real estate-backed credit instruments, and investments in income producing and development properties in multiple markets, primarily New York and Washington DC. Oxford’s US office opened in 2010 and, since that time, has increased its staff to sixteen professionals in New York and Washington. The Oxford US team members come from a diversity of backgrounds and are responsible for identifying, underwriting, structuring and directly managing Oxford US investments. In many cases, Oxford US partners with well-established local firms, including Gould Properties in Washington, DC; and Crown Acquisition, Vornado and the Related Companies in New York. Oxford’s US strategy is to build its credit and equity investments in primary US markets. Oxford US will continue to focus on office and retail investments in New York and Washington DC, but will explore diversifying opportunistically into other property types (residential) and other geographies (Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco). Oxford is committed to develop and actively manage a $10 billion portfolio in the US by 2018.

I am responsible for the direction and execution of Oxford’s US strategies and am based in the New York office. Since opening our US office in 2010, we have built a fantastic group on the ground looking at transactions that fit Oxford’s strategic framework. We are well positioned to find and execute on the opportunity to make significant investments here in the US market. Prior to joining Oxford, my work experience was focused on acquisitions, dispositions, structured financing and real estate investment. I have held senior roles at Trizec Hahn Corporation and Trammell Crow Company, which have given me the exact experience I have needed to build Oxford quickly and prudently in the US. Oxford is connected to a wide variety of customers – from occupants to our partners to brokers and our own people – and I place a lot of focus on building and maintaining close relationships. With this commitment, we can make every interaction valuable and deliver excellent results for the pensioners at OMERS.
