Managing Director / Head of Latin America

Alfonso Munk is a Managing Director with Prudential Real Estate Investors and head of PREI Latin America. He is responsible for managing PREI's investment management business in Latin America and integrating PREI's offices throughout the region. Alfonso's duties include developing and implementing PREI Latin America's strategy, as well as overseeing PREI – Latin America's operations, including, but not limited to, property acquisitions, asset management, property sales, portfolio accounting and research. Alfonso is a member of PREI's Global Management Committee and Investment Committee; the Latin America Executive Committee and Investment Committee; and is a Board member of Terrafina (BMV:TERRA13). Prior to joining Prudential Real Estate Investors, Alfonso was a Managing Director with Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing (MSREI), where he held various roles in Europe and South America over the last 10 years. Most recently, he was responsible for MSREI real estate investing activities in southern Europe (France, Benelux, Spain and Portugal), as well as pan-European hospitality investments. Earlier, he also served as region head for South America, based in Sao Paulo. Alfonso has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Hospitality Administration from Cornell University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute. Alfonso is a Spanish citizen and speaks Spanish, English, French and Portuguese fluently.

Nicole Stagnaro

Ken Warman became global chief operating officer for Prudential Real Estate Investors in January of 2013. In this role, Ken oversees the operational aspects of PREI's business, including finance, fund operations, systems, and operational risk management. He serves on the Global Management Committee and Global Operations Committee. Ken joined PREI in January of 2011 as its Head of Finance, and served as Head of Global Business Management during 2012. Ken spent the prior 13 years serving in various financial positions in Prudential, including leadership roles in Prudential Mortgage Capital Company, Prudential Investments, and Prudential Capital Group. Ken worked for KPMG Peat Marwick, LLC for five years prior to joining Prudential.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mark Chamieh is managing director and global head of business development and client relationship management for Pramerica Real Estate Investors Limited (PREI's London office). He serves on the firm's Global Management and Global Operating Committees. Before joining PREI, Mark served as managing director and global head of marketing for JER Partners, responsible for building and managing JER's capital markets team, while overseeing global investor relations and capital raising activities. He was also a member of JER's Executive Committee. Prior to JER Partners, Mark led global business development as a managing director at UBS Global Asset Management in London, where he was a member of its Global Real Estate Management Committee. Mark also held positions in institutional sales for several major firms and has worked in Bahrain, London and New York. Mark has a degree in politics and social policy from the University of Newcastle.

Raimondo Amabile

Raimondo Amabile is co-head of Europe responsible for continental Europe. He serves on the Global Management and Global Investment Committees. In addition, Raimondo serves on the European Executive Committee. Before joining Prudential Real Estate Investors, he was most recently Managing Director and Head of European Business Development for Tishman Speyer. Earlier, he led operations for Southern and Eastern Europe, responsible for building Tishman Speyer's platform in Turkey. He was a founding partner at Realty Partners, an independent asset management firm in Italy. He also was a vice president in Morgan Stanley's Real Estate Investing Group and was a senior associate with GE Capital Real Estate's European acquisitions team. Raimondo has a degree in civil engineering from Facolta' di Ingegneria di Napoli and a PhD in real estate investment and finance from Facolta' di Ingegneria di Padova.

GLOBAL CHIEF INVESTMENT RISK OFFICER

Philip Barrett

Philip joined PREI in May 1999. He was appointed Global Chief Investment Risk Officer in November 2013 having formally been in charge of the Asian, Middle East and European regions since January 2013. In this role he coordinates and leads the development of investment strategies and the management of the investment committees. In addition he has responsibility for the performance of the strategic capital held within all real estate funds . Before that date for over 13 years he was a member and ultimately led the European Value Add and Opportunity Funds Group of PREI. This Group has originated, arranged and invested over €1.8bn in equity in a number of value added transactions across Western Europe in €6bn of assets. Prior to joining PREI, Mr. Barrett spent nine years at Arthur Andersen, reaching the level of senior manager in the real estate group. Roughly half his time was spent as a senior manager specialising on property clients including British Land and Canary Wharf; the remainder on transaction based work, principally for the larger London-based private equity houses. Philip received a B.Sc. in Economics with Statistics from Bristol University. He is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and holds the Investment Management Certificate from the U.K. Society of Investment Professionals.

HEAD OF GLOBAL CLIENT SERVICES

David Bradford is currently the head of global client services. In this role, David will coordinate with various groups within PREI to enhance delivery of "best of class" service to our clients. He is a member of the firm's Product Approval Committee, US Management Committee, and Global Management Committee. David joined PREI in 1995 and has held various management positions since joining the firm. Most recently, he was global chief risk and investment officer where he oversaw the firm's investment processes, monitored risk within and across the firm's investment portfolios and lead the development of the firm's emerging investment strategies. Prior, David managed PREI's flagship pan-European perpetual life, open-end property fund and spent two years as head of PREI's non-U.S. investment operations. He began his PREI career as the senior portfolio manager for the firm's flagship open-end U.S. equity real estate fund. Prior to joining PREI, David was a senior vice president in portfolio management at Equitable Real Estate. His 13-year tenure at Equitable also included positions selling investment management services to institutional investors. David holds a BS, magna cum laude, from Brockport College, 1974 and an MBA from Harvard University, 1982. In the intervening years, he served as an officer in the United States Navy.

Peter Hayes

Peter is a Managing Director and Global and European Head of Investment Research for Prudential Real Estate Investors. The research function provides strategic advice and support to the investment management divisions of the business. Based in London, Peter is a voting member of the Global and European Investment and Debt Investment Committees. Before joining PREI, Peter held a number of previous positions including Director and Global Head of Economic and Real Estate Forecasting for DTZ, an international property advisory company, UK Economist at the Bank of England, and a Lecturer in Economics at the Universities of Sheffield and Kings College London. Peter holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Sheffield, an M.A. in Macroeconomics from the University of Liverpool, and a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from University College, Swansea.

Ellen Kendall is a Managing Director and head of Global Product Development for PREI. In this capacity, Ellen works on the design, development and implementation of investment products and strategic initiatives for the firm. She serves on PREI's Risk Management Committee, Product Approval Committee and Global Management Committee. She is a founding member and Co-Chair of the PREI Women's Initiative, and serves on the Women's Advisory Council for Prudential Investment Management. Prior to this role, Ellen was the Chief Legal Officer for PREI from 1996-2005, and was a senior real estate associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher & Flom in New York City and at Sills, Cummis in Newark, New Jersey. Ellen received a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University in 1976, and a Juris Doctor from DePaul College of Law in 1982. Ellen is a member of the New York Bar, a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM), and National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), serves as a member of NAREIM's Council of Senior Legal Advisors, and is a registered representative.

HEAD OF ASIA

Morgan A. Laughlin joins Prudential Real Estate Investors as Head of the Asia Business. He will be responsible for managing operations and strategy for PREI's businesses in the Asia Pacific region. Morgan will sit on the Global Management Committee. Morgan joins PREI from Grosvenor Fund Management where he was a regional director responsible for managing the Asia Pacific region. Prior to Grosvenor, Morgan spent five years with Royal Bank of Scotland in several roles including Head of Real Estate Finance, Head of Japanese Coverage and Origination, and Regional Head of Real Estate Advisory. He previously led DB Real Estate (RREEF) for Non-Japan Asia from 1999-2006 after RREEF acquired Bankers Trust Company, where Morgan held roles in finance and international banking. His career began in investment banking at PaineWebber in New York and he has been based in Asia since 1989. At both RREEF and RBS, Morgan led the creation of successful regional real estate platforms from the ground up. During his time in Bankers Trust, RBS and Grosvenor, he was responsible for executing significant restructurings of existing business units. On the investment side, Morgan has led teams active in investment strategies ranging from core through opportunistic covering a wide variety of investment strategies, geographies and sectors. These include distressed debt, hospitality, retail, residential and office investment and development in both the emerging and developed markets of Asia Pacific. In addition to real estate private equity investing, he has managed teams executing senior and mezzanine debt origination, corporate finance (including M&A and corporate restructuring) and general client coverage. Morgan earned a BA in Latin American Studies from Columbia College in 1987. He has lived and worked in the U.S., Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Chief Executive Officer

Eric Adler is the chief executive officer of Prudential Real Estate Investors. Prior to becoming CEO, Eric served as global chief investment officer where he was responsible for overseeing the investment process and working with regional business leaders to build a consistent investment culture around the world. Eric joined PREI in 2010 as head of the European business. Before joining PREI, Eric co-directed Tishman Speyer's European activities and was a member of its Global Management and Investment Committees. Prior to Tishman Speyer, he worked for Morgan Stanley, where he led MSREF's activities in Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Eric graduated summa cum laude from University of Arizona. He also holds a graduate business degree from HEC Business School in France. Eric serves on the management board of INREV, the European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles.

Kevin Smith

Kevin R. Smith is head of PREI's US business. He is a member of the US Executive and Investment Committees and serves on PREI's Global Management Committee and Global Investment Committee. Previously, Kevin was the senior portfolio manager for Prudential's flagship core equity real estate fund, as well as its value-add fund. As such, he was responsible for the oversight of all aspects of each fund's operations, including portfolio strategy, acquisitions, sales and asset management. Kevin was formerly the head of investment underwriting and operations for the transactions group of PREI. Prior to that, he managed separate account portfolios for pension fund clients, as well as a series of smaller, closed-end commingled funds. He earned a BS in economics and political science from Willamette University, and a master's degree in city and regional planning from Harvard University. He serves on the Willamette University Board of Trustees, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Lester Lockwood

Lester F. Lockwood is a managing director and head of key account management for PREI. He is responsible for managing the key account program and overseeing special projects related to the business. He is a member of the PREI Global Management and Product Approval Committees. In addition, Les serves on the US Management Committee. Les directed the marketing team until 2012 and has been an integral part of the client service and marketing team for Prudential's real estate products since 1988. He joined Prudential in 1970 as a member of Prudential Asset Management Company, where he was actively involved in many aspects of institutional asset management and client service for eighteen years. Les received his bachelor's degree from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 1970 and is a 1987 graduate of Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development. Les is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association, the Council of Institutional Investors, the Editorial Board of The Institutional Real Estate Letter and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager

Cathy Marcus is the senior portfolio manager for PREI's flagship core equity real estate fund and is involved in all aspects of managing the fund including portfolio strategy, investment decisions and management of the team. Cathy joined the Global Management Committee in March of 2013, and she is also a member of both the US Executive and US Investment Committees. Cathy joined PREI in 2002 as the head of investment underwriting and operations for the Transactions Group of PREI. This included the underwriting review of each investment presented for approval to PREI's Investment Committee, as well as the coordination of the acquisition activity of the PREI acquisition professionals located in four regional offices. From 1998 to 2001, Cathy was vice president for Prudential Corporate Real Estate Advisors. In this capacity, she directed the strategic planning, development activities and transactional activities for over $800 million of corporate real estate on behalf of clients. Prior to joining Prudential, Cathy was a second vice president with MBL Life Assurance Corporation. In this position, she was involved in real estate portfolio management, commercial loan securitization, commercial mortgage loan restructuring, portfolio dispositions and special projects, including the sale of the Agricultural Lending Division and a luxury resort development.
