Andrew Scott serves as Managing Director of Acquisitions and is a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Scott is responsible for seeking out new investment opportunities with experienced real estate sponsors, project analysis and underwriting, partnership negotiations and new investment closings. Mr. Scott has been with the firm since its founding in 1996.
Prior to joining Phoenix Capital Partners, Mr. Scott was a partner at Madison Residential Group, a developer of institutional quality multi- family assets, where he was responsible for project development, including market and financial feasibility, product/floor plan design, pro forma projections, project management, financing of debt and equity, asset management and disposition. Prior to Madison Residential, Mr. Scott was a Senior Real Estate Consultant for E&Y Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group. Mr. Scott began his Real Estate career as an analyst for the Weitzman Group/Cencor Realty Services in Austin.
Mr. Scott earned a Masters of Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. L’Huillier is a Director of Acquisitions and is responsible for generating new investment opportunities with experienced real estate sponsors, project analysis and underwriting, partnership negotiations and new investment closings.
Prior to joining Phoenix Capital, Mr. L’Huillier was employed by Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance where he was responsible for originating commercial real estate loans. Prior to his association with Mass Mutual, Mr. L’Huillier was an Asset Manager with J.E. Roberts/Goldman Sachs, and was with the Perot Group. While with the Perot Group, he started and managed the family’s property management, oversaw all management and leasing functions, and spearheaded the disposition of the family’s properties. Mr. L’Huillier began his career with Arthur Anderson & Co., where he worked in the audit and tax groups for various real estate industry clients.
Mr. L’Huillier earned a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A & M University.
Mr. Mastor co-founded Phoenix Capital, and today serves as its Managing Partner. Mr. Mastor is a member of the Investment Committee and is responsible for expanding investor client relationships, formulating new investment strategies and planning the long term growth of the firm.
Mr. Mastor has over 30 years of real estate, finance, acquisition, development, and asset management experience. In his 16 years at the Phoenix Capital helm, Mr. Mastor and his team deployed over $700 million of invested capital in over 177 real estate transactions. In 1993, Mr. Mastor cofounded Madison Residential Group, which developed over $175 million of luxury apartment homes in the Dallas and Austin markets. In the 1980s, Mr. Mastor was Director of Acquisitions with Centre Development, a major regional development firm, where he closed the acquisition and disposition of over $100 million of multifamily, retail, and industrial properties.
Mr. Mastor earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University.
