Prestwick develops and renovates both family and senior housing communities located in the Mid-Atlantic, South Central and Southeastern United States. The founding partners of Prestwick Companies bring together a collective 60 years and 14,000 units of multifamily development, project management and asset management experience. Since its founding in 2008 the company has become one of the fastest growing and most successful multifamily development companies in the Southeast, expanding from three founding partners to a staff of over 20 development, construction and investment professionals. Prestwick has developed 25 multifamily housing communities since 2008 and has raised over $150 million in development and LIHTC equity. Kenneth Blankenship

Kenneth G. Blankenship (Ken), a founding Partner of Prestwick, has 25 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Ken has acquired a diverse background of skills in developing affordable housing. Since 2003, Ken has successfully developed over 25 properties encompassing over 3,000 apartment units throughout the Southeast. ​ Ken serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Prestwick focusing on day to day business financial operations. Ken has developed key 3rd party relationships valuable to the success of Prestwick and continues to work with third party management agents, lenders and syndicators, while also building committed relationships with State and Federal housing agencies. Ken leads a staff responsible for executing all debt and equity models and directs all closing and funding processes. Ken works closely with other Prestwick partners in developing strategic expansion into new markets and developing company goals for both short term and long term growth. Ken also serves as a Board Member for the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition. Prior to founding Prestwick, Ken was a Senior Vice President and shareholder at Ambling Development Partners where he managed a team developing over 20 affordable housing projects in 4 southeastern states. Ken also served as Vice president of Sanbury Corporation assisting in the development of Affordable housing projects from 1980 to 2002. ​ Ken received a bachelor degree in accounting from Auburn University in 1979.

Richard Darien Lee

Richard D. Lee (Darien), a founding Partner of Prestwick, has 16 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Darien has acquired a diverse background of skills in affordable housing development, multifamily management, asset management, construction project management, and asset valuation. Since 2003, Darien has successfully developed and project-managed 38 apartment communities totaling over 2,200 apartment units throughout the Southeast with a combined development cost exceeding $260 million. Darien serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Prestwick focusing on the day to day business operations. Darien remains actively involved in the development process by providing corporate structure and leadership to all corporate staff with a concentration on the companies’ development project management team. He works closely with third party management agents and provides asset management oversight, while also building committed relationships with various key third party alliances. Darien also provides executive leadership within Prestwick’s construction company. Darien works closely with other Prestwick Partners on the firm’s strategic direction, including expansion into new markets throughout the Southeast and South Central United States. Prior to founding Prestwick, Darien was a Senior Development Manager at Ambling Development Partners where he contributed to the successful development of 18 LIHTC properties in four different states with a combined total development cost in excess of $140 million. Darien also managed the construction of over 1,300 apartment units with a combined hard cost of $42 million. Darien also worked for 7 years in the multifamily management field overseeing the day to day operations of a portfolio consisting of market rate, LIHTC, HUD, and USDA RD properties. ​ Darien received a BFA degree from Valdosta State University in 1995 and is an active member of GAHC and TAAHP.

Wiley Tucker, III

Wiley A. Tucker III (Jody), a founding Partner of Prestwick, has over 12 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Jody has an extensive background of skills in affordable housing development, construction project management, and asset valuation. Since 2002, Jody has successfully developed and project-managed over 2100 apartment units throughout the Southeast with a combined development cost exceeding $260 million. Jody serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Prestwick focusing on the firm’s strategic direction, including expansion into new markets throughout the Southeast. Jody is actively involved in the development process by providing leadership in business development, land acquisition, financial modeling and analysis, securing housing tax credit allocations and debt and equity capitalization. He also concentrates his efforts forming strategic relationships with various government agencies, lenders, syndicators, and joint venture partners. Prior to founding Prestwick, Jody was a consultant and was successful in obtaining (2) 2008 tax credit awards in GA. On both projects, through his company, ETW Tax Credit Consulting, LLC, he acted as a consultant and guarantor to a local non-profit. He was responsible for land acquisition, financial modeling and analysis, securing housing tax credit allocations, management of the closing and funding process, and project management during construction through lease-up and issuance of 8609’s. Prior to forming ETW, Jody was a development manager for two local GA developers and was responsible for the successful development of over 1400 units with a combined development costs of $150,000,000. A native of Atlanta, GA, Jody received an Economics degree from the University of Georgia in 1997 and is an active member of GAHC.
