Over the past 25 successful years, principals Jeff Dinkin, Doug Brown and Eric Fleiss have transformed Regent from the real estate arm of the Kohl family office to a multi-faceted real estate investment management platform. Regent and its principals have acquired, developed, financed and/or managed over $3 billion in real estate transactions nationally, encompassing more than 21 million square feet of retail, commercial, residential and mixed-use projects and 13,000 acres of master planned communities representing 31,000 lots.

Managing Director

Jeffrey Dinkin

Jeff has been Managing Director of Regent Properties since he founded it in 1989. Jeff oversees acquisition and development functions at Regent, with a focus on office investment and land development. Jeff has twenty-five years of experience in real estate development and investment with Regent and in his career has overseen the acquisition of over 17 million square feet of office, retail and mixed-use properties, as well as the entitlement and development of more than 31,000 lots. He was formerly associated with the Alexander Haagen Company, where he was involved in developing over 10 million square feet of retail space. He began his career with the real estate transactional law firm of Pircher, Nichols and Meeks in Los Angeles. Additionally, Jeff serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board to the Simms/Mann - UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology; on the Board of Directors of Camp Kesem; as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Affordable Living for the Aging; and as Board Chairman Emeritus at PS # 1, a private elementary school based in Santa Monica, California. He graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Washington University in St. Louis and has a JD degree from UCLA. Years experience: 30 real estate, 25 Regent.

Douglas Brown

Doug is Managing Director of Regent Properties. Doug is responsible for the development, financing and value-add creation in Regent’s portfolio, including executing some of the largest leases in the southwest US during the last downturn. Doug has twenty-five years of experience in real estate development and investment with Regent across a variety of asset classes, including the leasing, rehab and build out of Regent’s office portfolio. In his career he has developed and managed over 7 million square feet of office, retail and mixed use properties and over 13,000 acres of land. Prior to joining Regent, Doug was a partner for six years with Albert Glickman & Associates, one of the leading shopping center developers in Southern California during the 1980s. At Glickman, Doug was involved in the development and management of over 3 million square feet of retail space. He is a cum laude graduate of the Wharton School of Business and Finance of the University of Pennsylvania, and received his JD degree from UCLA, where he graduated Order of the Coif. Eric Fleiss

Eric is President of Regent Properties. At Regent, Eric develops and formalizes Regent’s constantly evolving investment strategy, sources and acquires acquisitions, and manages investor relations. Eric has acquired, developed and/or disposed of multiple real estate product types totaling over 10 million square feet of office, retail, and mixed-use properties and over 4,000 acres of land. He previously worked at the Westfield Corporation, Inc. where he focused on individual and portfolio property acquisitions, as well as property management and development projects. Eric began his career as a financial analyst in The Walt Disney Company's Corporate Strategic Planning Department. Eric is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Young Presidents’ Organization, and the Rand Corporation’s Policy Circle; and serves on the board of directors of both the CCA Core Return and CCA Aggressive Return mutual funds. He graduated magna cum laude with an AB in Economics from Harvard College, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. Years experience: 12 real estate, 10 Regent.
