Founded in 1950, RMS is a privately-held timberland investment firm managing 2.7 million acres of sustainable plantations in the United States, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, and China. At RMS, we have executed the disposition of over $1.5 billion in timberland sales – more than some managers have acquired. This experience includes over 1,800 individual transactions, covering both larger portfolio sales and numerous small higher-and-better use sales. We have a dedicated team of six individuals that work to develop our disposition strategy and execute sales analysis, marketing, negotiations and closing. Over the last three years, we've closed approximately $250 million in timberland sales. Executive VP, Chief Financial Officer

Dennis DuBose

Dennis is responsible for the financial management of the company, its subsidiaries and investment entities, and the accounting and reporting of client investments. He also assists the investment management team in developing efficient strategies for global timberland investments. He serves on the company's Board of Managers and Executive Committee. Before joining RMS, Dennis was a senior partner in a public accounting firm specializing in services to Timberland Investment Management Organizations. He has over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance and taxation in the timberland investment industry. Dennis is a recognized expert in the timber industry and has provided services to timber clients ranging from consulting on specific projects to helping clients shape the growth and success of their companies. Dennis has assisted clients with the acquisition and disposition of several million acres of timberland through feasibility studies, financial modeling and assisting with the securing both acquisition and permanent financing. Dennis is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received his Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of South Alabama.

President & CEO

Craig Blair

Craig became President and CEO in October 2010, with responsibility for the company’s investments and operating businesses in the United States, Australia, Brazil, China and New Zealand. As President, he leads an experienced team of forestry and financial professionals that manage a global timberland portfolio of over $4 billion. Before assuming his current role, Craig directed RMS’ investment management team with responsibility for investment strategy, research, business development, portfolio management and client relations. Over a 30-year career he has held a variety of positions at RMS and in the forest products industry, with experience in acquisitions, resource planning, forest management and wood procurement. Craig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and a Master of Forestry degree in Forest Business from Mississippi State University. He is Chairman of RMS’ Board of Managers and Investment Committee and currently serves as a board member of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, Inc. (SFI) and the National Alliance of Forest Owners (NAFO).

Executive VP, North & South America Operations

Phillip Woods

Phillip leads the RMS forest management and harvesting operations on 2.6 million acres across the southern U.S. He brings more than 30 years of professional forestry experience to RMS. Following 15 years in the forest products industry, Phillip joined RMS in 1993 and served as a regional manager for Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana. From 2001 through 2003, he led a dedicated account team for RMS that oversaw all forest planning, budgeting, operations, risk management, sustainability audits, cash management, accounting and reporting on approximately 1.3 million acres across the U.S. South. A member of RMS Board of Managers, Executive Council and Investment Committee, Phillip is a registered forester in Alabama and is a member of the Society of American Foresters. He received his Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from Auburn University and serves on the university's School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences Advisory Council.

Executive VP, Acquisitions and Land Sales

Ed Sweeten

Ed is one of the leading authorities on forest acquisitions and land sales in the Southern United States. With over 28 years of diversified forestry and real estate experience, he has closed more than $5 billion in forestland acquisitions and sales since the mid-1980s. Since 1998, Mr. Sweeten has overseen an average of $100 million in land sales annually. He is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina as well as a registered forester in Georgia and the Carolinas. Ed earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management from Auburn University. He also has authored several articles on forest landowner management and real estate practices for industry journals and is a co-recipient of the 1994 Hancock Timber Resource Group's Stewardship Award. He is a member of RMS' Executive Council and its Board of Managers and serves on the board of the Frank W Norris Foundation and the World Forestry Center.

Sr. VP, International Investments

Dave Titzer

David's principal responsibility at RMS is to build and manage a forest investment portfolio outside of North America for RMS clients. Working with RMS team members, outside consultants and third party service providers, David will develop and implement timberland acquisition strategies, especially in the rapidly developing forest product markets of South America and Australasia. Prior to joining RMS, David was engaged by investment funds as an international forest consultant. Additionally, for over 25 years, he worked for International Paper. During this time with IP, David held positions of increasing responsibility in global strategic planning, international due diligence, forest acquisitions and sales. He has also had the operational management responsibility for 1.25 million acres in the southern US. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Master of Science in Forestry from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Portland.

Sr. VP, Business Development

Eric Schwefler

Eric is principally responsible for the marketing and new business development efforts for RMS. Additionally, he will be directly involved in account management and client relations and will work with RMS Investments team in developing products and investment solutions for clients and consultants. Prior to joining RMS in 2010, Eric directed business development and client services efforts at BlackRock with specific focus on the institutional investor and investment consulting community. Eric, who has 19 years experience in real assets investment management, held a similar role at Forest Investment Associates where he was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and consultants. He also spent time in an investment research and analysis role at FIA and served as the Chairman of the NCREIF Timberland subcommittee. Eric holds a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University as well as Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Tony Cascio

A member of the company’s Investment Committee, Tony leads RMS’ investment management team. In that role, he directs a team of professionals responsible for investment research, business development, client relations and portfolio management for a timberland portfolio valued at over $4 billion. Previously Tony led the firm's research efforts into understanding the risk and return relationships of timberland portfolios. Under his direction, RMS implemented a comprehensive effort to develop quantitative models that examine timber supply, demand and price dynamics of the markets where RMS manages assets. He recently completed serving a two-year term as Chair of the NCREIF Timberland Committee. Prior to joining RMS, he was the Forest Planning Manager for Temple-Inland Forest Products Corporation, and was responsible for the harvest scheduling, economic and financial analyses of the firm's timberlands. Most recently, Tony received a Ph.D. in Forestry Finance from the University of Georgia. He also has a M.S. in Forestry from North Carolina State University, and a B.S. in Computer Science from James Madison University.
