Mr. Mitchell is Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of SteepRock Capital LLC. Prior to SteepRock Mr. Mitchell served as an Executive Vice President and Principal at Colonnade Properties LLC, an Opportunistic Real Estate Investment Company with $1.5 Billion ofAssets under management, where he was principally involved in project acquisition and portfolio management. Prior to joining Colonnade Properties in 2000, Mr. Mitchell served as Vice President of acquisitions at The Taylor Simpson Group where he worked on acquiring domestic office and hotel assets for a $1.0 BB private REIT. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University.
Mr. Bucci is Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of SteepRock Capital LLC. Prior to SteepRock Mr. Bucci served as a Director of Investments at Petra Capital Management since its founding in 2006. While at Petra Mr. Bucci was partly responsible for investing the firms $450mm in equity in approximately $4.0BB in Assets. From 2006 to 2007 he closed 25 transactions totaling over $1.5 billion total dollars. While at Petra Mr. Bucci focused on the origination of transitional mortgages and the purchase of mezzanine debt and subordinate mortgage debt and was also instrumental in the execution, sale and ratings process of a $1.0BB CRE CDO. Prior to Petra, Mr. Bucci was a Vice President of Global Commercial Real Estate with Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) from 2003 – 2006. From 1997 – 2003 Mr. Bucci was a Vice President of the Principal Transactions Group at Credit Suisse founded by Andy Stone. In the last 12 years Mr Bucci has been involved in approximately $8.0 BB of real estate transactions. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University.
Prior to joining SteepRock Capital, Mr. Pazuniak served as an Associate at Petra Capital Management, where he provided origination support and lead underwriting and asset management efforts on over $1.0 BB of transactions. Mr. Pazuniak played an integral role in the execution of the $1.0 BB CRE CDO issued by the firm, including coordination with ratings agencies and the sales team. Prior to Petra, Mr. Pazuniak was a Transaction Manger in the Real Estate Finance Group of CIBC from 2005 to 2006, where he underwrote and closed loans totaling over $500 MM. Prior to CIBC, Mr. Pazuniak was an analyst in the CMBS Origination group for Nomura Credit & Capital. He holds a B.S.M. from Tulane University.
