VP of Development

Rashik Patel

As VP of Development responsible for multi-million dollar construction projects, Rashik’s success is predicated on his solution-driven approach and his need to continually learn new things. Both keep him on top of cutting-edge technology and building techniques in his constant search for ways to build a better mousetrap – or hotel, retail space, spa, or restaurant. Fueled by the support of the entire organization and a philosophy of “Test it, don’t be afraid to fail,” Rashik embraces new ideas, looks at all the angles, and enjoys working them through in his quest to build the best. Nimble and flexible, Rashik’s ability to change direction at any time keeps his projects on schedule while maximizing his construction dollars. Even in the most difficult situations his infectious sense of humor allows him to keep his cool by always looking at the lighter side of things. In Rashik’s opinion if you can’t have fun, what’s the point? But what Rashik likes best about his job is that when he’s done he has a physical presence of his accomplishment – something he can point to and say, “I built that.”
