Hugh Zwieg joined TRC in 2013 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Prior to joining TRC, Hugh served as the Executive Vice President of Capital Markets at General Growth Properties, Inc. (NYSE:GGP). During his tenure, GGP issued approximately $2.3 billion of equity upon its emergence from bankruptcy; effected the Howard Hughes Corporation spin-off; effected the Rouse Properties, Inc. spin-off; refinanced approximately $12.1 billion of property level debt; generated approximately $2 billion of net proceeds; and laddered maturities. Prior to that, Hugh has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Wind Realty Partners, an organization which provides advisory, operating and disposition services in connection with the marketing and sale of office property portfolios. He has also held various positions with CMD Realty Investors, L.P., a privately held real estate operating company focused on the acquisition and development of office and industrial properties throughout the United States, including the positions of President and Chief Financial Officer.
Tom Kuehl joined TRC in 2016 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions & Leasing. With 11 years of experience, Tom has demonstrated expertise in all facets of the retail real estate product life cycle, including tenant representation, leasing and asset management, shopping center acquisitions and new and redevelopment analysis. Prior to joining TRC, Tom was Regional Director of Acquisitions at Weingarten Realty (NYSE: WRI), a Houston, Texas-based shopping center REIT. Located in Southern California, he was responsible for sourcing acquisitions in excess of $120 million, including 8,000 Sunset Strip and Westside Center in Los Angeles. Prior to his eight years at Weingarten, Tom spent three years with Cornish & Carey Commercial, a leading real estate brokerage in Sacramento, California, where he began his real estate career.
Tim Pettit joined TRC in 2015 and currently serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Investment Management. He is responsible for portfolio and investment management as well as all capital market activities. With 13 years of experience, Tim is an expert in real estate investment, capital markets and asset management. Prior to joining TRC, Tim was with Equity Commonwealth (NYSE: EQC), a $7 billion office REIT in Chicago as a member of the investment team, and was responsible for sourcing and evaluating acquisition opportunities as well as leading dispositions. Prior to EQC, Tim was at EGI, where he focused on opportunistic and distressed investing across a variety of sectors, including office, retail, industrial, multifamily and hospitality.
