Darren Cline is a Director at TerraCotta. Darren is also responsible for managing the firm's relationship with the brokerage community. Before joining TerraCotta, Darren was with Grubb & Ellis, where he worked with many corporate clients and completed some of the largest real estate transactions in the San Fernando Valley/Ventura County. Earlier, when he was with Colliers International’s San Fernando Valley office, Darren received extensive training and developed a background in all aspects of brokerage services, including industrial/office sales, leasing and investment. Darren graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a BA in political science and a minor in international relations. While attending UCLA, he was a member of the UCLA Bruins football team and was a starter for two years.
William Courtney is the Chief Talent Officer at TerraCotta. Amongst many others, Bill is responsible for TerraCotta's organizational development, human resource functions, and advising on TerraCotta’s strategic development strategies. Prior to joining TerraCotta, Bill spent 25 years as a CPA and senior partner for one of the international accounting and management consulting firms (Arthur Young-now Ernst and Young). There he worked with small entrepreneurial firms and large international clients- primarily in Boston, New York, Paris France, and Los Angeles. He also established an accounting and financial consulting office in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Subsequently, Bill spent 15 years as the CFO for the hospitality division of Lowe Enterprises (Destination Hotels & Resorts) and as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Lowe. Bill holds an AB in Economics with distinction from Dartmouth College and an MBA in finance from the Amos Tuck School of Business. He is currently an active Board member and CFO for Communities in Schools of Los Angeles.
Tim Gollogly is the Director of Marketing and Client Relations at TerraCotta Group. Tim is responsible capital raising and ongoing client relations. He has over 8 years of experience in the Alternative Investment Industry. Prior to joining TerraCotta Group, Tim served in Business Development roles at GarWood Securities, Performance Trust Asset Management and Marcus Evans in Chicago where he focused on Family Offices and Fund of Funds. Tim attended Eastern Illinois University and holds Series, 7, 65, and 63 Finra licenses.
Tingting Zhang is the founder and President of the TerraCotta Group. She oversees the firm’s investment process and manages portfolio risk. Before founding TerraCotta, Tingting was a senior researcher for one of the world’s leading consulting firms. She conducted political and economic risk analyses for senior executives of global financial companies such as Citigroup, AIG, Deutsche Bank, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She also consulted for the National Intelligence Council of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and contributed to the Lehman Brothers-Eurasia Group Stability Index, the first and only political risk index on Wall Street. Tingting has contributed to a number of research projects that were featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Newsweek, and The Economist. She has written and published extensively on public finance, central-local relations, and environmental issues in emerging economies. Tingting co-founded the Special Assets Management Association (SAMA), the only trade association for banking executives in special assets management. SAMA has more than 100 bank members and has two chapters, in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Tingting sits on SAMA’s board of directors as a co-chair. She holds two master’s degrees, one in statistics and the other in international relations, and has a PhD in international political economy from the University of California, Los Angeles.
