Craig Cheney is responsible for firm-wide corporate finance, TCC’s Real Estate Funds, capital programs/ventures and investments. In addition, he serves as Chairman of TCC's Investment Committee, which oversees all of the Company’s real estate investments, and as a member of TCC's Executive Committee, working with the senior management team to drive Company strategy. A seasoned real estate veteran, Cheney first joined Trammell Crow Company 28 years ago. During his tenure, he has served in a variety of roles, most recently as Senior Managing Director and head of TCC’s national retail development efforts. Cheney is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.
Michael S. Duffy serves as Chief Operating Officer for Trammell Crow Company. In this role Mike oversees asset management and TCC’s investment approval process, marketing and communications, human resources, finance and legal/risk management activities. He is also responsible for establishing business plans, tracking investment performance and assisting with the capitalization of investments. Mike joined TCC in October 2000 and as Senior Managing Director had previously served as head of TCC’s Investment Management Group, National Director of Investment Services and head of TCC’s National Accounts group. Before joining TCC, Mike was a Managing Director at Principal Financial Group, where he established a centralized acquisition and disposition function for the Company. Prior to that, he oversaw all asset management activity of Principal’s real estate equity portfolio throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Central regions.
Adam Saphier serves as President, Central Operations for Trammell Crow Company where he oversees the firm’s national Capital Markets Group as well as the Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston Business Units including all development and acquisition projects, new business pursuits, finance and operations. The Central Operations focuses on the following product types: office, industrial, retail, multi-housing, healthcare, and land. Saphier previously served as a Managing Director of the firm’s Dallas-Fort Worth Business Unit. He specializes in the development of Class A office buildings, both as principal investments and on a fee basis.
Joel Behrens serves as Principal and director of Trammell Crow Company’s Dallas multi-family division. In his role, he is responsible for the origination, financing, joint-venture structuring, and execution of TCC multi-family investments in Texas. Mr. Behrens began his career with Trammell Crow Company in 2008 focusing on office development in the Houston office. While in his role, he assisted in the development of 1.2 million square feet of office projects. In 2009 Mr. Behrens served as an Asset Manager for Trammell Crow Company where his responsibilities included asset management, tracking and reporting investment performance, capital forecasting, and overseeing the execution of investment policy. In 2010, Mr. Behrens joined the Dallas/Fort Worth Business Unit to focus on multi-family development.
