Kenneth Valach

Prior to serving as CEO, Ken oversaw development, finance and construction for TCR’s six South Central offices. Ken joined TCR in 1989 as Vice President of Residential Services for California and has supervised development of more than 150 rental and for-sale communities. Ken’s earlier experiences include serving as Chief Financial Officer for a private company in Southern California and as a management consultant for Price Waterhouse. Ken received his BA in Economics and Math, cum laude, from Claremont McKenna College, where he is a member of the Board of Trustees. He earned his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Ken is a member of the Board of Directors – Executive Committee for the National Multi-Housing Council, a Director of Kimble Senior Housing, a Director of New Hope Housing, and is active in the Boy Scouts organization.

Timothy Hogan

Since joining TCR in 1998, Tim has structured and closed debt and equity transactions totaling over $1.5 billion. After serving as a Division and Regional Chief Financial Officer, he now functions as the company’s CFO, overseeing all debt and equity transactions as well as the company’s national services group. Before joining TCR, he was a Managing Director at Crow Holdings, overseeing the company’s investments in TCR as well as hotel and apartment portfolios. Tim earned a BA and an MA in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University. He is an Executive Committee member of the National Multi-Housing Council and has served with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Coppell ISD.

Cliff Breining

In his 30 years with TCR, Cliff has managed the acquisition, financing, and disposition of numerous apartments and condominiums, and has conducted overall administration of various divisions from Florida to California. Currently, he focuses on tax, accounting and legal matters. Prior to joining TCR, Cliff was Chief Operating Officer with SES Beck & Associates, a shopping center developer. Cliff holds a BA in Accounting from Hofstra University and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Adelphi University. Cliff works from an office Indian Wells, CA.

Donna Kruger

Donna has more than 25 years of experience in the analysis and management of real estate assets, 20 of them focused on asset management and finance related to the development, construction and management of Class A multi-family residential properties. In her current role, Donna oversees financing, refinancing, and disposition for the East Coast and Houston. Formerly, Donna served as CFO for the Southeast, overseeing all financing, asset management, acquisition and disposition activities for the region. Since joining TCR in 2003, Donna has been involved in financing more than 30 multi-family projects (both rental and for-sale condominium) with a total capitalization of over $1.5 billion. She has also been responsible for the disposition of 26 apartment properties with an aggregate value of over $1.1 billion. Prior to TCR, Donna was an asset manager with JPI, where she managed the lease up, stabilization, and disposition of numerous Class A multi-family rental communities.

Sue O'Bannon

Sue has been involved in real estate finance for over 20 years in a variety of roles. With TCR since 2004, Sue oversees debt and equity financing for TCR’s new developments in the Western United States. In addition, she oversees asset management and dispositions for TCR’s remaining West Coast operating properties and land holdings. Prior to joining TCR, Sue was a Vice President and Manager of the National Accounts group at Bank of the West, where she originated and managed loans for for-sale residential, apartment, retail, office, industrial and land/land development projects. Earlier, Sue served as a Vice President at Citicorp, in the Commercial Real Estate Group, and was involved in loan work-outs, asset disposition (OREO and loans) and investment banking. Sue graduated from Claremont McKenna College and earned her MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
