Chief Executive

Ric Lewis

Ric is the Fund’s Senior Portfolio Manager, responsible for overall Fund strategy and execution, Chairman of the Investment Committee and Chief Executive of Tristan Capital Partners. Ric brings a 20+ year track record of international real estate investment management to Tristan. Prior to forming Tristan, Ric founded and served for several years as Chief Executive for Curzon Global Partners, the London based real estate investment company, and as Chief Investment Officer and Board Director of AEW Europe, its parent company, a pan-European real estate investment management business with 11 offices, 270 staff and €18 billion in assets under management. Prior to founding Curzon and helping to assemble AEW Europe, Ric was a Partner and Senior Managing Director of AEW Capital Management, a US based investment management business with 200 staff and $25 billion under management. Outside of work, Ric volunteers the majority of his time to organisations dedicated to improving the access to and the quality of education, especially for children from less advantaged areas and environments. Ric serves on the Board of Directors of London First; the Board of Visitors for the Belfer Centre for International Policy at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government; the Board of Trustees of Teach First; the Board of Trustees of The International Inspiration Foundation; The Board of Directors of Grassroots Soccer; the Board of Governors of King Solomon Academy; the Board of Directors of the Eastside Young Leaders Academy and the Board of Directors of Innovision, llc. At Dartmouth College (USA), Ric received his A.B., Economics. Ric is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School (PMD) and he has dual American and British nationality. Ric has established the Black Heart Foundation which has hosted and sponsored several celebrations, galas and golf tournaments for international guests for the benefit of several charitable and community causes.

Ian Laming

Ian is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Tristan Capital Partners. Ian brings a 20+ year track record of global securities investment management, investment banking and investment research to Tristan. Prior to joining Tristan, Ian was co-head of Morgan Stanley's European Equity and Fixed Income Research Division, a pan-European division with 265 staff, covering over 1000 securities across 30 sectors, and servicing hundreds of institutional clients across the world. Prior to running European Research at Morgan Stanley, Ian was a strategist with Morgan Stanley in New York. Ian started his career as an investment manager at Baillie Gifford, one of the UK's leading independent investment management partnerships. Outside of work, Ian is a Governor of The King Alfred School, an advisor to the Gaia Foundation, and serves on the Board of Directors of Innovision. Ian received his B.A. in Law at Oxford University.
