We acquire, rehabilitate and resell single family homes primarily in the NY metro area. Our mission is to provide our investors stable and consistent returns while improving the communities we invest in. URS Capital Partners is actively seeking investments in B and C class apartment communities in established markets throughout the Eastern United States and in the New York Metro area.

Christopher Urso
Christopher founded URS Capital Partners (formerly National REIS) in 2007 and has since been committed to the company’s growth. He has been responsible for cultivating the firms strong relationships via its field partners, private investors and real estate professionals. Christopher has been involved in over 50 residential and multifamily redevelopment projects and maintains a risk aware approach in today’s market. He is responsible for leading the company’s mission of acquiring well positioned multifamily assets. Christopher has been responsible for securing over $7,000,000 of private capital in the last 5 years and his constantly seeking new relationships to expand the firms reach. Prior to National REIS Christopher was a minority partner and GM of Skyline Legal Technologies, a Manhattan based litigation support company. Chris was an integral part of the company’s growth from start up to $16MM in annual revenue and its eventual sale. Real estate, specifically multifamily, has been his true passion since purchasing his first property more than ten years ago. Chris earned a B.A. in Finance and Management from Manhattan College.
Janet Silverman
Janet founded Salus Capital Investors in 2011 and merged its activities with and co-founding URS with Christopher in 2012. Prior to founding Salus, Janet worked on Wall Street in a variety of investment areas including lending, distressed investing and workouts related to real estate and middle market companies. She benefits from her transactional background of 20 plus years in finding, analyzing, underwriting, closing and managing investments in real estate and middle market companies. During her tenure, Janet completed hundreds of transactions investing over a billion of capital. Janet has always been interested in residential real estate investing and decided to focus her attentions in that area in late 2010, founding Salus shortly thereafter. At URS her goal is to find, analyze, structure and manage investments in quality residential assets that will generate both current income and long term value appreciation for our investors. Janet earned a B.S./B.A in Finance and Accounting from Boston University and is a CPA.
