Dean has 25 years of multifamily and commercial real estate experience and is the founder of Varner Multifamily and Varner Commercial. Varner Multifamily has acquired and managed multifamily apartment complexes since 1997, and Varner Commercial has assisted Cellular Phone Companies with the development, entitlement and management of their networks of cellular communications towers since 1996. Prior to this, Dean was with Colliers International in Charleston, SC and was responsible for leasing a large portfolio of fee managed Office Buildings and Shopping Centers. With aggressive marketing efforts, he significantly increased the combined occupancy rate of the portfolio resulting in large property value increases for the ownership. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

John has 18 years of professional experience that includes multifamily, corporate and investment banking and strategic corporate development. Most recently, John’s corporate development work involved the development and implementation of a growth and diversification strategy for a long standing Florida family business, Lykes Bros. Inc. This work resulted in the planning, organizing and launching of diverse corporate initiatives that included an investment in a venture capital fund providing expansion capital to rapidly growing private companies located in the Southeast and Texas, building a real estate specialty finance business and instigating an integrated logistics center development focused on supply chain infrastructure in South Florida. John obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the College of Charleston and an International MBA from the Thunderbird-American Graduate School of International Management.

Pamela has over 30 years of experience in business development and management and is responsible for directing the operations of all VW Multifamily properties. From 1987 to 2007, Pamela founded and was the CEO and Director of Operations and Training of OnTrack Training, an Atlanta, GA based Employee and Computer Training Company. The company served Fortune 500 companies as well as State and Federal Agencies. During her tenure, Pamela worked with such clients as Prudential Insurance, BBDO Advertising, Turner Broadcasting, the Atlanta Braves, CNN, HBO, Delta Airlines, Northern Telecom, Emory University, Georgia DNR, the EPA, the U.S. Attorney General and the IRS to establish educational training programs. In 1997 and 1999, she was named one of 2000 Most Notable Women in Business by the American Business Women’s Association, and in 1998 she was recognized as International Businesswoman of the Year by the International Business Women’s Association for her contributions in employee education. She also won the 2007 International Inventor's Award for The Tornado Alarm System, for which she holds the utility patent. Her background also includes time at Sanyo Corporation and at Panasonic in Merchandising and Marketing. Pamela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics from Arizona State University.
