Scott Brinker

Scott Brinker is Chief Investment Officer of Welltower Inc. (NYSE:HCN), an S&P 500 company. He has direct responsibility for investment decisions, management of the Investment Team, strategic oversight of the company’s existing portfolio, and managing key client relationships. Under his leadership, Welltower™ has assembled the highest quality portfolio of health care real estate in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada and an unsurpassed network of operating partnerships. This drives Welltower’s ability to connect health care delivery partners across disciplines to create efficiencies and solve challenges created by the aging population. He’s led more than $20 billion of new investments in his career at Welltower™. Mr. Brinker's transaction experience includes private market acquisitions, public company M&A, new development, joint ventures, operating leases, real estate and mezzanine loans, equity investments, restructurings, and dispositions. He led the teams that completed the $4.3 billion dollar acquisition of Sunrise Senior Living and the $2.7 billion partnership with Revera, among other important transactions. Mr. Brinker also led the company's international expansion into Canada and the United Kingdom. Mr. Brinker received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and an MBA from the University Of Michigan Ross School Of Business. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Sunrise Senior Living and Silverado Senior Living, two of the world’s leading providers of assisted living and memory care.

Scott Estes

Scott Estes is Chief Financial Officer of Welltower Inc. (NYSE:HCN), an S&P 500 company. Under his leadership, the company has raised $21.5 billion of capital through a combination of debt and equity offerings over the past five years. This enabled the explosive growth of Welltower’s broad and diversified portfolio across the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. Mr. Estes has distinguished himself by his commitment to prudent balance sheet management that creates long-term shareholder value. He was named to Institutional Investor Magazine’s All-Executive Team in the REIT category in 2012 and 2014. Prior to joining Welltower™, Mr. Estes held positions as Senior Equity Analyst and Vice President at three major financial firms: Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Bank of America Securities and Deutsche Bank Securities. During his research career he provided coverage of the health care REIT, seniors housing, skilled nursing, and acute-care hospital sectors. Mr. Estes earned his BA from the College of William and Mary. He serves on the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care Board of Directors. He has also served in various philanthropic positions for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and is the current Treasurer of The Toledo Community Foundation.

Erin Ibele

Erin Ibele is Executive Vice President – Head of Human Capital and Corporate Secretary of Welltower Inc. (NYSE:HCN), an S&P 500 company. A member of the Company’s Management Committee, Ms. Ibele is the Company’s longest serving employee, with 30 years of service. Throughout this tenure, she has contributed to the development of every department in the Company. Her invaluable knowledge and broad relationship network lend critical support to the Company’s relationship-driven investing strategy and its position as a global health care real estate leader. Ms. Ibele is responsible for managing all aspects of human capital and corporate communications. In this role, she creates the strategies necessary to build capabilities and develop talent to fuel the Company’s dynamic growth. As a champion of Welltower’s partnership-based approach, she has created a culture of engagement and transparency and is responsible for the Company’s work life and leadership development platforms. Most recently, she played an instrumental role in the Company’s rebranding efforts across internal and external audiences, positioning Welltower™ as driving innovation and value in the transformation of health care infrastructure. As Corporate Secretary, Ms. Ibele drives the highest levels of integrity and compliance as a driver of long-term shareholder value creation. Welltower™ has been recognized on multiple occasions by leading industry research firms for having one of the most shareholder-friendly governance programs. She received her BBA from Adrian College, where she was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Northwestern Ohio, Inc.
