Mt Kenya Expedition
I summited Mt Kenya (5,199 m), the second highest mountain in Africa, end-February. The climb took us 4 days including time to get to the base of the mountain, one acclimatization climb, and then 16 hours of climbing to above 5,000 m on the summit bid day.
I am not a rock climber so this climb was very difficult for me; repelling the 55m vertical walls in the dark felt way too long. Enjoy the mountain pics…
